A Cork-er Of A Sandwich - Edit
With an infuriatingly impressive array of non-vegan sandwiches apparently available at nearly every food outlet in the terminal, it was a blessed relief to spot bread-based salvation at this most unlikely of places.
Read moreWhile there was only one option available, it was thankfully a very solid offering - bordering on excellent. The bread itself was fresh and flavoursome, the avocado likewise held the same qualities and adding a rich creaminess to the baguette, and the addition of pomegranate seeds was a nice touch, adding a pop of sweetness and texture.
Also available from the outlet were a variety of bread plaits. Intrigued, I opted for the sunflower seed variety, but ultimately wished I hadn’t bothered. Lacking in a number of ways, from seasoning to overall freshness, it was something of a disappointment. If you’re looking for an item of similar ilk, far superior can be had from not too far down the concourse, at near enough the same price.
Again, while it may only have a scant few options, given that there are no other choices of this type elsewhere, I’d say this is certainly worth your consideration. I know that I’d definitely return if ever passing through again.
