Very good atmosphere ! - Edit

Cosy place to have a great meal. The plates (aluminium plates and bowls) are surprising but they fit with the atmosphere of this canteen !
You eat on planes’ wings instead of tables ! That can also be weird at first, but one get used to it.
Good plates (bowls) are served with original flavours, but I did not have a chance to try the hamburgers. Hopefully next time..
This is not a romantic place to eat with your beloved though. Anyway the staff is extremely friendly and one of them very nicely played piano for a total bliss.

Pros: Atmosphere, Interesting combinations of food

Cons: Short menu

Fresh and tasty food - Edit

We had the purple taro portobello sandwich and the pesto beano bowl. They both tasted great, was filling but did not make us feel weighed down after. Prices were reasonable. Awesome, vintage atmosphere. Friendly staff.

We had difficulty finding the place. The entrance is right next to entrance for the starbucks.

weird and wacky - Edit

and that is just the staff. Kidding, This is a great place, we were in Montreal three days and went there twice. food is good value bordering on vegan raw food and a good but small cocktail and beer list. the staff are half the enjoyment in ding here especially Nick. All staff are patient in explaining the concept and the food varieties.Sitting at the "airplane wing takes a bit of steadiness but is no issue really. it is a great atmosphere, the food is tasty with sufficient proportions and the price is right

Pros: the staff, atmosphere, value

Cons: can be busy

Thunder Storm - Edit

I ordered to go, but then a massive thunder and lightning storm broke outside, so i ate in until the rain cleared. The counter looks like it's made from a re-used plane wing and the decor is made up of old window frames and found items.

I got the lentil sandwich which was presented burger-style; a flavourful mix of lentils and tempeh inside a bun.

The server was very friendly and if i had more time in Montreal i would have definitely come back to try more from the menu.

Pros: Friendly staff, Tasty, Inventive

Just lovely. Great food. - Edit

Inexpensive, friendly, and great, great sandwiches. Definitely filled a need in Montreal for quick, cheap, and tasty vegan food. Plus, in the Village/Berri-UQAM, there is nothing comparable around the area.

The Lentil and Kimchi sandwiches are the absolute best. Love the people who work there. Went when it first opened and has seen it get more and more popular ever since. Hope this place becomes as much of a landmark for the MTL vegan scene as Aux vivres has.

Pros: perfect sandwich/lunch joint

Cons: cookies need some work.

Good - Edit

We went with 2 young children, obviously not a good place for children. The setup of the restaurant itself is like a bar or pub, with high tables and high chair. Luckily they have one picnic table. So, eventhough there is not high chair or boaster chair, the children at least could sit on the picnic table's chair, still a bit too low for a 2 yo. Luckily the restaurant was not busy at that time, else with two young children, we would turn back to go somewhere else. The dishes seems a bit unusual to me in terms of combination and taste. But they were good. I would prefer to have some warm things during the winter instead of cold sandwich or cold pesto bowl though. The miso bowl was at least warm. Would probably go back again in the summer, without bringing the children.

Pros: Friendly service

Incredible - Edit

I was visiting Montreal for a few days when I stumbled across this newly-opened restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh, colourful, and healthy. Sean, one of the cooks, was extra friendly and even spoke with me about local vegan activism. Absolutely amazing experience.

Pros: incredible food and location, several options, not overwhelming, friendly staff

a lovely restaurant! - Edit

I like this place!!
The staff is very friendly & professional and the food is good. The tempeh sandwiches are tasty and they are made with your choice of sauce. They also have bowls and salads which I have yet to sample. The cakes are sort of "healthy"-style, which is nice if you don't want something too decadent. Everything is presented with care.

Located steps away from Beaudry metro, you can sit by the large front window and people-watch. It's open late which is great if you are out in the area and want a snack.
Propulsion has a nice ambiance, clean and pleasant. They also have a piano and do live music a couple of nights a week. A fun place to hang out, for sure!

I'm pleased that there is now a vegan restaurant in this part of the city, no more having to trek over to the Plateau for your tempeh fix. Worthy of your support :)

Pros: fresh & healthy food, friendly staff, great atmosphere

Cons: menu is kinda limited

Great place to grab a healthy tasty bite - Edit

I really like this place. The food is healthy, which can sometimes disappoint, but in this case it is also scrumptious.

The décor is also special, with airplane parts scattered all over the place. You can actually pick one table that's an actual airplane wing!

It's open late, which is cool, not to mention it's open until 5 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Pros: Great value, Original décor, Nice location
