ok at best

place looks pretty and has good reviews so i wanted to try it. did so twice, 1st time they were pushing us to have a meal and we only wanted hot drinks so we left. 2nd time we sat for drinks. its overpriced, coffee was not great. there is just something missing or off the mark here for me - and i visit a LOT of coffee shops.

Slightly odd vegan breakfast

We visited Procaffeinate for lunch after finding that the kitch at the nearby Temperance Café was closed for the day. It's a nice café with a very pleasant outside terrace but their vegan options are rather limited. We both had the green vegan breakfast. While it was ok it was rather haphazard mix of sausages, mushrooms, baked beans, smashed avo, sundried tomatoes and fried potatoes. The sausages were also those strange 1980s-style ones that consist of mashed potato, peas & carrots in breadcrumbs. Not a great buy at £12.50 each! The only other vegan option is overnight oats with blueberries, bananas and chia seeds.

Pros: Lovely terrace

Cons: Needs more vegan options - and better sausages!, A bit overpriced, Allows smoking on aforementioned lovely terrace

Always my favourite little place to relax in Leamington by the canal!

Always a friendly greeting…I love coming here when I am visiting Leamington. The cakes are to die for, the coffee is amazing, and the breakfasts are great too! There are veggie and vegan options available, and also gluten free. Dogs are welcome, the atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming, and if you get a sunny day then the outdoor seating area is perfect to sit and watch the ducks on the canal while you sip your coffee.
Not to mention the secret bar hidden downstairs through the fridge door!

Pros: Amazing coffee, Dog friendly , Veggie, vegan and gluten free options available

Cons: A bit pricey but well worth the money!, quite a small place so can get busy
