Best one in Amsterdam

Out of the 4 or 5 veg*an places I visited in the city, this one is by far my favourite.
It's more a bar/cafe than a restaurant, but you can get great sandwiches from 5e (you may have to get 2 to be full, still worth it - a very nice meal for 10e). All the staff is vegan, although I was a bit confused by their menu offering milk for the coffee if required; I guess it's yet another "almost" 100% vegan place?
I had the opportunity to try their cupcakes and they were delicious. They also have a little corner with a few magazines, badges and vegan charts for sale. The people are friendly and I'd repeat the experience, no doubt.

Pros: Nice place, Nice people, Tasty

Cons: Offers milk =/

Love it!!

This place is truly lovely. Holland needs more places like Pristine. No. The world needs more places like these! Pristine manages to combine the fixed gear bike shop perfectly with a great cafe.

It's the perfect place to hang out with friends, drink a tasty cup of coffee and eat a yummy burger. Nothing special you would think... but that makes it so darn special. Cozy music (you can't go wrong with Deathcab For Cutie) and even cozier staff.

The burger I had could easily be compared to a Yellow-Sunshine-Berlin burger. The coffee was great. Not too strong plus the coffee was fairtrade. I'm a dull person when it comes to hot dark beverage, I just want my coffee black. But if you like; they have all those fancy flavors as well to pimp your coffee.

Too bad they ran out of cupcakes, but that's a good excuse to come back soon.

Pros: Vegan burgers!, Great atmosphere, Nice staff

Cool cafe

Great combination of fixed wheel bike shop & vegan cafe - cool, friendly. Burgers & hot dogs just on Saturday (all day) & Thursday evenings at the moment. Rest of the time its coffee, fresh juice & delicious cupcakes - & wifi. If I lived in Amsterdam this would be my regular cafe

Pros: Vegan, Untouristy, Good coffee

A great little place!

We went to Pristine Lunchroom for brunch on a Saturday. My preparation wasn't the best and didn't realise it was above a bikeshop at first!

This really added to the adventure and makes this place really stand out as something different and special.

Seating is very limited but at no time did it feel cramped or busy. There was a distinct feeling of community in the Lunchroom and it was extremely friendly.

I tried the burger which was meticulously prepared and was totally sublime! The hotdog was a little less substantial, but looked good nonetheless.

Unfortunately, there were no cupcakes that morning :(

Over all, a great little spot for a light lunch. The menu is limited but everything is vegan and served by friendly staff.

Pros: Tasty, Friendly

Cons: Limited menu, Limited seating

My favorite place in Amsterdam!

Pristine Lunchroom was my absolute favorite place to eat in Amsterdam. It's a really cool place and is a combination of a bike store/shop (lower level) and lunchroom (upper level). All of the owners were there the day we went, they were all very friendly and went out of their way to help us find other places to eat with vegan options and also gave us some tips regarding things to do in Amsterdam - this was VERY much appreciated! So the first day we went I ordered a burger and a cupcake, both were very good and I appreciated the taste and inventiveness of the cupcake. The cupcake was GREAT and was vanilla flavor with rosewater flavoring drizzled on the top - it sounds different, but it was totally good! We liked this place and the people so much that we came back a second time, this time I got the burger and the chocolate peanut butter cupcake. I really liked the hot dog (but prefer the burger) and the cupcake was simply amazing. PL's cupcakes aren't something to skip either as their some of the best I've ever had, so if you're not hungry for one when you're there be sure to take one to go. The owners also said that their expanding their menu soon, so they'll have more than burgers and hot dogs soon. PL is within walking distance pretty much anywhere in Amsterdam, so check this place out!

Pristine

A cosy little place, service with a huge smile. Here the staff are all vegan. Friendliness is effortless, they know that what they serve is cruelty free, I say great activism!!. Thursday night is vegan burger night. Saturday is vegan burger and hotdog day.Food is organic with a selection of fair trade coffee and tea/juices. Oh yes and not forgetting the delicious cup cakes. What more do you want in Amsterdam? My advice, get your [censored] there quickly before everything is eaten!!

Pros: cruelty free food, friendly staff, good value
