A few options - Edit
Every category seemed to have at least one option, but I was disappointed they didn’t have a hot sandwich.
Read moreThere are also multiple locations in T3, but I guess this listing is a catch-all.

I agree a hot sandwich would be ideal! I saw you traveling around Paris when I was there and now you’re in London. I live here. I’m curious which you preferred. 🧐. I thought Paris was immense and has the edge on London.

Usual options - Edit
An easy stop for something vegan - not loads of options but always something available.

Never thought I would give more than 1 star to an airport food place - Edit
Normally I hate buying food at airports because it's obviously too expensive and there aren't many vegan options. But I must admit that vegan sticky mushroom banh mi style sandwich they had was just bomb. Now I even want to replicate it at home because it was so good.

Yummy berry croissant and chocolate cookie - Edit
Many vegan options here. I love the berry croissant and chocolate cookie the best.

It’s a Pret - Edit
I mean it’s just the same as everywhere else.
Read moreGood for a quick bite if you’re in a pinch, but other than that I wouldn’t necessarily go here.
I think they could massively up their vegan game.

Pret - Edit
Lacks protein options. In the last year, I’ve had a greater focus on eating more protein (especially while traveling) because it keeps me full or longer. I usually get the avocado and tomato sandwich, but I found it is all fat and carbs with little to no protein. I didn’t really find any other vegan offerings here that had sufficient protein, which was extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend Pret unless you’re desperate, it’s also pretty expensive for what it is.

The hellish fire scape of overpriced food - Edit
Yes the avo, olives and toms baguette is good, but is it worth the eye watering £5.99 takeaway price? Definitely not. Every time I go to a prêt - or any food place at an airport is because I am starving. The whole place thrives off extortion and it gets me everytime!

Large selection - Edit
They have a large selection of “grab and go” vegan options that are delicious - both hot soups and cold sandwiches. I had one of the many vegan sandwiches (one of the smaller ones) and it was really good. I have no idea what the black stuff inside the sandwich is, but it tasted amazing and was plant based - my two favorite characteristics!!!

Not bad - Edit
Of several vegan options shown on the online menu, only one was available. Nevertheless clearly labeled and delicious.

Scary Looking Baguette - Edit
Despite the Beet Wellington Baguette looking like a leftover seasonal product from a Halloween range it was actually really good!

Got food to go - Edit
Grabbed the chipotle hummus wrap, olive sandwich, and banana cocoa cashew pudding to go. Glad for vegan options but nothing was too remarkable.

Would give 5 stars! - Edit
I loved stopping here while waiting for my flight! Such a good meal to leave with. The Avo, Olive & Toms Baguette was literally one of the best sandwiches I have ever had- SO good. I’m constantly craving it. I also had the Very Berry Croissant and the Sunshine Bowl which were both super sweet and delicious. There were so many other vegan options available and I wish I could try them all!

Location, location, location - Edit
Normally, I find Pret a Manger to be rather mediocre: they offer fresh, healthy food, mostly vegetarian, but only a few vegan items, most of which are okay, but not necessarily great. However, an airport is a perfect spot for a Pret. If you want to grab something quick that is vegan and healthy, you're sure to find something here (and this place seems to offer more vegan items than even a typical Pret). I hope they open a Pret in NYC airports as well!

Solid quick pick - Edit
I always look for these when I connect at Heathrow. They are a solid choice for taking vegan food on the plane. They aren’t chef quality (it is an airport, after all), but it is much better than plane meals.

Decent vegan choices - Edit
It's not fancy or especially good, but provided it's there in the airport with vegan sandwiches, salads, wraps, healthy drinks and at least 5 different vegan desserts, its awesome. No body expects greatness in airports, but this is as close as you can get to and decent meal on the fly.

Airport restaurant shop with vegan options - Edit
It is definitely not my preferred restaurant, now in an airport, especially after security, you have to take what you get.
Read moreFrom that point of view, the vegan options they propose, should be a must have in all airport restaurants, now that is not the case.
Therefor this is really a great start, I hope it gains some popularity with these vegan options, will extend it and will inspire other airport restaurants as well.
Last time I passed by, it seemed like vegan options had increased.
Pros: Good vegan food for airport, Great initiative, More and more choice
Cons: Still limited choice
