Wish I'd got the cookie and not the sandwich

As I am not a fan of airline food, and it was hard to find good vegan finger food options for taking on the flight at the terminal, I grabbed a sandwich from Pret to get me through my flight. It was around 8am and they were just putting the vegan sandwiches out at that time. Not labelled vegan but it was vegan. It was a sandwich with avocado, olives and salad, so not an exciting sandwich. $14S.
I didn’t eat the sandwich until later in my 14 hour flight by which time it was fully soggy and basically inedible.
They also had the vegan chocolate chip cookies in the cabinet. I wish I had got one of those instead.

Pros: they have chocolate chip cookies

Cons: only get the salad sandwich if you can eat it asap

Not bad

I had a soy flat white which was decent, and the very berry croissant, which was ok. They had no vegan sandwiches on offer. The prices were high.

Always An Airport Must

Whenever I see a Pret at an airport, I’m always instantly relieved as I know for a fact that I will be able to get something decent, be it sweet or savoury, should I wish. Sweet was the option for breakfast this day, so I got the berry croissant and dark chocolate almond butter cookie. The croissant was flaky and well filled, and the cookie was warm gooey, a winning combination for both items and another successful experience at Pret was had.
