Make an effort to cater for vegans

While there was only one vegan wrap available on the day, they had two vegan pastries and some salads. The berry pastry was nice. Quick and friendly service. Bit pricey

Very odd and dismissive staff, not great tasting food.

Me and GC were passing through heuston and decided to give Pret a go seeing as they have vegan options, I got a Humous & chipotle wrap, and GC got an avacado, olive and sundried tomato baguette and we got two oat milk lattes.

The pricing wasn't the worst especially for both Dublin and a train station. But the taste was strange and I didn't like the wrap at all. It tasted like they just lumped everything vegan in their fridge into a wrap and called it a day.

I tried the baguette and preferred it, which was handy as GC really didn't like the baguette. The baguette was only okay but It was miles better than the wrap for me.

The latte was not bad but a bit sweet as they use Alpro, it was the highlight by far.

The staff were the icing on the cake, me and GC got a few pictures of the vegan food on offer. A staff member seemed to have a problem with this until we said that we review vegan options online and then they were all smiles and said if we need anything let them know, they then gave a one word answer to a question about lunch offers and then fled in back.

The person who was ringing up the order on the till was very ignorant and lost his patience when we hadn't stood on some obvious invisible line on the floor we should have been on to pay.

The person who made the oat lattes seemed nice but the other two were just very weird to deal with and had so little patience or interest in customer service that I will probably never bother with Pret again.

Bad food and unfriendly staff

I got the avo, olive & toms baguette and an oat milk latte. Purp got a humous & chipotle wrap.

My baguette was very dry and bland, I swapped out with Purp as they preferred it to their wrap. The wrap was very vinegary. I didn't enjoy either option.

The latte was okay, very weak and tasted slightly of plastic. They use Alpro milk.

It was just under €21 for two oat lattes, the baguette and the wrap.

I was trying to decide what to get as the baguette looked more appealing to me than the wrap, but rocket lettuce hurts my stomach if I eat too much of it so I was trying to decide if the amount of ticket in the baguette was enough to hurt me. A staff member came up to me and asked me if they could help me. I explained that I was just trying to decide between the baguette and the wrap. They then started asking me why I had been taking photos (I took a few photos when I first entered the cafe, I hadn't taken any photos in a few minutes), I explained that it was to post a review on here and I asked if taking photos was not allowed in the shop, they said that photos are allowed and it was okay. Then when I went to pay for the food and to ask for coffee the person who was at the cash register (a different staff member than the one I had spoken to a few minutes beforehand) was extremely dismissive. After I paid he pointed to the side and said "wait there for your coffee" pretty angrily. I generally don't mention rude or dismissive staff because it honestly doesn't bother me very much, I have worked in customer service and I know that some days you just don't have the energy to be friendly, but the interactions with the two different staff members was just weird to me. The woman who made my coffee was lovely though.

They also had 2 vegan pastries but I didn't take a photo of them because of the above interaction.
