Mediocre

Mediocre coffee, almost no vegan options. Poorly run.

Small selection

Unfortunately only a small selection, but a little different from the standard bakery.
Always tasty and perfect when you're in a hurry

Decent

Quick solution in the station, several salty options. Only one cookie with almond in the bakery counter. Yogurt with chia seed and fruits also available

Leckere Cookies

Cons: Keine große vegane Auswahl , Nicht komplett vegan

Good coffee

They have good organic coffee with oat milk and a few vegan food option (sweet and salat or sandwich). It's not much, but if you're hungry it's definitely an option. It's quite expensive though.

Pros: Good coffee

Cons: Expensive, Not much vegan options

If you miss Pret, it's nice nostalgia

If you're British and miss Pret it's nice to come here. the coffee is decent and they have a few vegan and veggie options. The double choc almond cookie is here, as are a couple of the sandwiches. they don't have any of the new exciting vegan stuff they have in the UK though... not yet anyway!

Sadly lots of packaging, even if you eat in. Limited vegan options and no bathrooms on site. Accpets card.

Pros: Vegan options in the central station

Cons: Lots of packaging, Limited facilities, Limited vegan options

Barely anything vegan

This is an ok place for coffee with plant based milk but the food is lacking. Every time I’ve been inside I ended up not getting any food. There’s usually just one vegan option - a very boring looking sandwich with lettuce and tomato. There are a few more options for vegetarians but for vegans seriously lacking.

It’s strange because when I lived in Asia the Pret A Manger chain had way more vegan options than in Europe. That’s unexpected!

Don't sleep on this sandwich. It's fantastic and probably my second favourite vegan sandwich with the first being their avo, olive and tomato baguette which is super popular so not always available. Pret is probably the most vegan friendly chain out there.

Dependable British export

Well labelled vegan options and space to eat. Good for grab and go. Quite expensive, but it is at a main train station in fairness.

fast food to take onto your train

This food is obviously not amazing. But IMO it’s totally fine for what it is. You get stuff that you can cram into your backpack, and it contains at least some veggies or fruit. The falafel flat bread was a bit too spicy for my liking but fine and I really enjoyed the açaí bowl with almond butter.

Great vegan options

Like the UK chain, they offer a few excellent vegan options. The red and greens sandwich is definitely recommended. The vegan dark chocolate and almond cookie is also amazing! Excellent shout if you just want a good sandwich/baguette and a coffee.

Pros: Vegan options , Cookie, Location

Cons: Little pricey, Chain

Hardly anything vegan

Conveniently located on ground floor of main entrance (direction parliament building) of central train station. Relatively healthy food, Coca Cola, potato chips — known from the British branches that you will find in London on every corner. In winter, no seats outside. In summer, outside a pretty nice spot to hang around and watch travellers & tourists. Hardly anything vegan.

A few vegan options, commercial vibe

This place offers a few vegan options if you're looking for a quick snack or an okay coffee, but as a franchise chain it also has a rather impersonal atmosphere to it

Pros: Good vegan options for a quick snack on the go

Cons: Commercial atmosphere

Alright when you are traveling

They only have one vegan panini option, which was really good though and there were a lot of vegetarian options as well. The staff was really friendly. It’s worth a stop when you are traveling and staying in Berlin main station.
