Good Vegan Food - Edit
Living as a vegan on the Isle of Wight it’s hard to find places to eat! I went to preggo and was amazed to find more than 4 vegan options, and vegan starters! Delicious food, and very good staff - helpful when asked questions and accommodating. Don’t have any good pictures but would recommend the risotto.

Looking for somewhere to eat in East Cowes before catching the ferry home, HC has listed Prego.
Read moreAs we drove by it looked full so I phoned and asked if we could book for anytime now. Luckily they had one table, and we could have it.
Lovely place, very busy but still they had time for a friendly welcome. I’d checked on their fb page before phoning and saw they have clearly marked vegan options so was confident we’d be happy.
I had the gnocchi and B had the penne arrabiata, both were delicious and enjoyed greatly. The wine list was marked with vegan options. There was a couple of options for dessert. Three scoops of sorbet and a rich chocolate tart. We opted to share the tart. Very nice.
We enjoyed the food and ambiance so much we’re already planning our next trip to the island so we can eat here again.

Prego serve delicious vegan pasta , garlic bread (topped with vegan pesto) and pizzas.

The staff are lovely.
