Nice lunch spot - Edit
Perfect little cafe in a bookstore. Used to come here with my mum for tea and cookies, and although they don't have any vegan cookies they have a couple vegan options.

Decent vegan options - Edit
My family has been coming here for over a decade any time we are in Saskatoon.
Read moreThey always have a few vegan options for applies, salads (sans cheese) and mains. They usually have a dessert too but it's not gf. VGF is still possible here but you'll be a lot more limited without the gluten.
Service is usually good, but I never find the staff super friendly.
Pros: Vegan options , Gluten free options , Has vegan dessert
Cons: Fewer VGF options , Menu not always well marked for V / GF

Great Dessert - Edit
The menu for vegans is pretty limited, but they always have a vegan cake and muffin offering (unless they are sold out). The chocolate avocado cake is particularly delicious. The atmosphere is nice (sort of like an intimate smokey jazz club without the smoke) especially when they have live music. I think it's a bonus that Prairie Ink is attached to McNally's as that is an amazing bookstore with a lot of interesting nooks and crannies.

Great music, we had a live band playing for dinner. - Edit
I like that they have vegan options, last time I was there for dinner it was hard to order until she showed me the veg menu. Wish I didn't have to ask and it was part of the menu. So more people might order from it!

Cons: Having to ask if something could be made vegan, Having a separate menu and having to ask for it.

Prairie Ink - Edit
Fairly easy to dine here, most items have to be adjusted other than a couple salads but the staff is very accommodating. I've been told by the servers that the kitchen tries to always have one Vegan soup option and one Vegan desert everyday all though I have been there at times when one or both wasn't available. Overall Its a good experience every time I go.

Few vegan options - Edit
There are a few vegan options, although sadly their veggie burger is not vegan. I had the quinoa and black bean salad that was nice and fresh. They made sure to serve it with vegan bread. They were also willing to remove cheese from the vegetarian options to make them vegan.
Read moreMake sure to browse the adjacent bookstore. They also have readings, so it can be busy if something is scheduled.
