This restaurant is located in a romantic resort that used to be a monastery.
Read moreWhile there are no vegan options on the menu card some options are vegan by coincidence or can be customized, leaving out the cheese in the mushroom risotto, for instance.
The service is very attentive. A meal is accompanied by a vegan starter plate, no matter if an additional starter has been ordered or not. I have eaten at this restaurant several times and the starter plate varied each time. This plate is free of charge. Additionally, when sitting down, there is already high-quality bread, olive oil, and olives. This costs 5€.
The portion size is generous.
Overall, everything is certainly worth the price.

Tem opções vegetarianas e vegan. Provei um prato principal e sobremesa (ambos vegan) e gostei bastante. O ambiente do restaurante é muito agradável e o staff é muito simpático.

Amazing view, big portions - Edit
The road to get there can be tricky but this is Gerês altogether. Good choices for vegetarians, food was amazing but the glass of Wine was quite a lot for Portugal. The portions were very good and service very nice. Highly recommend

this is a restaurante in a hotel with a really nice view. the menu has 2 vegan starter options, 1 main dish, and 2 deserts. We tried almost everything and it was truly tasty, filling and very nicely presented. If it happens that you go there to eat more than one day (there aren’t many other options around), the chef will try to make something different so you don’t have to eat the same thing.
