Phenomenal breakfast/brunch - Edit
Me and my partner ordered the sausage and tofu patty muffin and the breakfast burrito and both were incredible. I thought £10.50 was a little steep to begin with for the burrito alone but when it arrived it was HUGE so it was fine. 😎😎😎 theres also a large later lunch menu but I didn’t take much notice because we were here for breakfast

Quaint place with delicious vegan food - Edit
The food here is so good! We shared avocado on sourdough toast, and a full English breakfast. Everything was so good, and the sausages they use and the tofu scramble were really good.

Great place for coffee and breakfast - Edit
Potts Coffee is located in the Ropewalks area and is known for their coffee and brunch offering.
Read moreNot only the classic breakfast/brunch items like porridge, pancakes, and vegan full English, they also serve cakes and croissant. It has a cozy ambiance, although the cafe itself is a bit cramp. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
I went to Potts Coffee twice: for coffee and cake and for breakfast. The kitchen is open at 10am for breakfast when I went there for the latter, but you can 'pre-order' the food.
I had their flat white to go with my carrot cake and a cup of large latte to go with my breakfast pancake. Both coffees were delicious, but the latte was better in my opinion - it doesn't have the bitter aftertaste, smooth, and almost indulgent since I had it with oat milk (but it could also taste heavenly because I had it after my morning swim).
In terms of food, I found their carrot cake to be too sweet for me, but it marries well with the flat white. For pancakes, you can have the 'regular' 3 stacks of fluffy pancakes with two toppings or 6 stacks with four toppings. I went with the regular one, but it took me a while to choose which toppings I want, since there are so many of them, from the classic maple syrup, lemon juice, to bacon and fried chicken! I ended up having it with soy yogurt and mixed berries.
The pancakes were fluffy with a slight crunch on the outside. However, there aren't enough berries - but adequate yogurt, thus I find the pancakes a bit pricey, but it was very filling.
Overall, if you crave some (pan)cakes and coffee after a morning workout, come to this place!
Pros: Very friendly staff, delicious coffee
Cons: Place is a bit cramp, A bit pricey

Wonderful - Edit
We went for breakfast so haven't had the lunch or dinner options, we tried the Saturday but couldn't get a table so went for opening on Sunday and only just got one before a queue built up so go early! The pancakes are really wonderful, as is the range of different options for topping. Proper fluffy American style pancakes. The coffee and orange hot chocolate were also wonderful. We didn't try any savoury options but I was really impressed by the range of different things on offer for such a small cafe - breakfast burritos, fried breakfast, avocado on toast among others as well as the pancakes! Great value - we were absolutely stuffed afterwards, would recommend!

Food bit disappointing - Edit
We loved that it’s an all vegan cafe and the service and drinks were really good (sweet potato latte & praline hot chocolate) but the food was quite disappointing. We expected more from a vegan cafe. The vegan breakfast (small & big) was really basic with things you could pick up in a supermarket and make yourself with no added twists, seasoning, sauces etc. It was also over priced. I’d recommend you pop in here for drinks but for brunch head to The Vibe instead

Excellent brekky - Edit
A really good quality breakfast with top ingredients. I'd only say one thing wrong about it, more mushrooms please. Lovely staff and it is nice to see everything being vegan. Very nice atmosphere and nice and busy. The coffee was also delicious.
Pros: Everything vegan, Quality sausages and bacon
Cons: A bit tricky to order on the app, Not enough mushrooms for me

Delicious brunch - Edit
About a quid more expensive than your typical brunch place but well worth it - well staffed and beautifully decorated cafe with a really good variety of options. Particularly love the build your own pancake stack - my partner had maple syrup and black pudding (they said weird and wonderful combo)! Coffees are made with house blend. All food well seasoned and beautifully presented.

Nice café - Edit
This is a lovely little fully vegan café in the centre of Liverpool. The food is very tasty. The service is friendly. They care about sustainability and animal welfare, which I really appreciate. For example, they support Sea Shepherd and look to use less plastic.

Perfect little plant based cafe! - Edit
Myself and my other half are in Liverpool for a few days and love to find some plant based gems where we travel. Potts Coffee certainly is up there! We had a gorgeous breakfast of a oat milk flat white and a delicious mango smoothie bowl, with oats, blueberries, chia seeds and granola. Lovely friendly staff and a great atmosphere and decor. Highly recommended!

Great Breakfast - Edit
My wife and I went here for breakfast during our mini holiday to Liverpool. It is a nice setting nicely decorated inside with also some tables outside. I went for the full English with black pudding and she had the 6 pancakes.
Read moreWe were both really impressed. My breakfast was really yummy with many elements. The beans came in a ramekin too which was great. The hash browns were particularly nice. My only criticism would be they were a bit stingy with the mushroom - only half a portobello.
Her pancake stack was also nice. Loads of 3 of the toppings but only 2 rashes of bacon so maybe a bit tight for 6 pancakes. The pancakes themselves were delicious though both large and fluffy.
A must try for anyone visiting the city!!
Pros: Varied menu, Tasty food, Friendly staff
Cons: But stingy on some elements
