Read moreBut I did buy cards, took my time, sat down and started writing. I completely forgot about time. SO comfortable, calming music, it started raining, only heard the chatter between the owner and another man. I could completely relax and enjoy scribbling some kind words for loved ones. If you're looking for a safe, creative space to write, study or draw - this is for you. The cards are quite expensive but that's ok.
But mind you - cash only.

Heel gezellige sfeer, goeie koffie, havermelk zonder meerprijs! Veel gebak, waaronder ook vegan (bv. van Chez Mariette, Canela, Madam Bakster, ...). Een perfecte plek om even tot rust te komen, te snuisteren tussen de kaartjes en andere paper-goodies, en kaartjes te plannen voor komende verjaardagen.

Good coffee, vegan cake available and vegan lunch as well. Postbar is one of the few (two actually) places in Bruges where you don't pay extra for plantbased milk. That deserves a big thumb up!

The quiche and pasta funghi were very tasty. The lemonades came accompanied by some peanuts.
Cappuccino with oat milk, with a side of dark chocolate.
Pros: Half the menu is vegan / can be vegan, Tasty filling cheap lunch, Off the beaten path / tourist area
Cons: Street is a hit noisy so not nice sitting outside, Cash only! ATM at the end of the street.

Read moreThere is always a vegan option available. We had vegan soup (pea soup - the bread is vegan and vegan butter available). And toast with vegetable spread, which came with a nice and colourful salad on the side.
For desserts two options were vegan: bananabread and chocolate pie.
Bright interior, with some relax chairs as well. Lots of postcards for sale, which one can write on site and also post there.
Very friendly service, and knowledgeable about vegan.
Entrance and front of restaurant room is accessible, one elevated room only through some steps. No accessible toilet.
