Serves meat, vegan options available. Resort, bar and restaurant located right on Tenote Bay beach with vegetarian and vegan offerings. Could include pad kee mao with tofu, which can be ordered without egg or fish sauce. Spring rolls are vegan and there are also fruit shakes and mango sticky rice. Other rice and noodle dishes are offered with tofu which could be veganized. Has tables for laying down on and water filling stations. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-12:00am.

Nice beach restaurant

We had a awesome soft and tasty garlic bread. The pad thai was also very good. Unfortunately they first served it with egg, though we noted that we would like "no egg, no fishsauce". When we told her, that we don't eat eggs, she was sorry and we got a new portion without egg. The food was good and fresh. We also had the "POP" Shake, which was also delicious. All on all good food, just be sure to additionaly tell the staff about vegan specifications like "no egg, no dairy etc."

Pros: Good taste, nice location

Cons: Medium price

Poseidon Restaurant at Tonate Bay

This is a cool, laid back place. The decor is very beachy-dogs wander through, there is a pulley gadget for the staff to get food up to the second floor, high ceilings, cheesy (but fun) American pop music remade by Thai singers, and sand floor. They have a water refill station with a sign to ban plastic, which is cool! Food is pretty good-Over the two days we spent on this beach we had spring rolls (average, good dipping sauce but ask for two sauces if you like dipping), kee mao, pad Thai, Tom kha, banana fritters, mango sticky rice, and cashew fried rice. You order everything by writing it on a card, so we wrote “add tofu, no egg, no fish sauce, no dairy, no meat” on the card to be sure. The fruit shakes are good and dairy free. The food was good, not the best I’ve had, but good. They make it mild and you add spice to it. The prices are average, if not a little cheaper for the area. They can be slow if busy, and sometimes there is a language barrier. I’d give 3.5 stars if I could.
