Portobello Wholefoods

You could find almost everything that you need. Prices are also quite standard which is good.

This is a well stocked independent health food shop owned by one woman - no giant american supermarket brand here as is apparent from the slightly shabby exterior. The good things about this shop is that it is vegetarian and the the staff are very friendly and knowledgable about the stuff they sell. The downside is that this is based in Notting Hill and accordingly has Notting Hill style prices especially the fruit and veg.

What a great store for vegans! This independent store is great for vegans with all sorts of great products on offer.

Good selection of vegan items which can be hard to find elsewhere

Found this place near the end of the touristy Portobello Road. Score! Maybe it's just because I come from a town with only a Holland & Barrett but I thought this place had a great range. I bought a load of vegan chocolate & goodies I can't get back home, stuff like Vego & Buccaneer bars. Was VERY expensive though- the latter was something like £2.20. Not sure how this compares to other wholefood shops in the area. Overall a nice place.

Use this local health shop on a regular basis. Always has what I need and a good selection for a small store.

This place has some kind of problem with vegans - ridiculous for a wholefoods. Its much more mc/organic.

Even in the heat of summer don't expect to get a vegan ice cream or cornetto, they stock multiple ones made from cow milk & eggs yet only tubs of vegan ice cream, every time its hot & i'm in that area an ice cream would be so nice but they don't stock them, they are out of order & should do as a duty to vegans that shop there - I am no longer 1 of them x
