Portobello Wholefoods - Edit
This is definitely a health food store, you'll definitely get that vibe when you step food into the store. It's a nicely stocked shop with super friendly staff. Though, I don't find myself coming here much despite living close by, as the offerings don't really suit my needs or I can find the same things closer to home (but the offering might suit you, we're all different / have different preferences!). It is located on the touristy Portobello, so pop in if you find yourself in the area. There is also a monthly vegan night market near this store.

The shop layout is brilliant and the range of products are well stocked, extensive and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, helpful, extremely knowledgeable and I feel valued as a customer. Highly recommended!

This is a well stocked independent health food shop owned by one woman - no giant american supermarket brand here as is apparent from the slightly shabby exterior. The good things about this shop is that it is vegetarian and the the staff are very friendly and knowledgable about the stuff they sell. The downside is that this is based in Notting Hill and accordingly has Notting Hill style prices especially the fruit and veg.

Found this place near the end of the touristy Portobello Road. Score! Maybe it's just because I come from a town with only a Holland & Barrett but I thought this place had a great range. I bought a load of vegan chocolate & goodies I can't get back home, stuff like Vego & Buccaneer bars. Was VERY expensive though- the latter was something like £2.20. Not sure how this compares to other wholefood shops in the area. Overall a nice place.
