"Egg" salad is a must - Edit
I crave this sald. I don't know how they do it but it has an "eggy" taste using tofu. The best I've ever had.

The kindest people work here. And the food was great. Try their house mushroom and bean burger. All of their food is organic and sourced locally. Plus the music is on point to create a chill, old-time diner vibe.

Finally made it to Portia's Diner in and it did not disappoint. The vegan, gluten free and soy free YumBurger was amazing! The texture was perfect and the flavor was impeccable. I also had a piece of #raw Chai cheesecake but was so excited about it that I forgot to take a picture.
Read moreThe staff was super duper friendly and Portia is a kind person with a lot of really great insight. She came over and we talked for about an hour and a half about all kinds of interesting things - including why she includes medical in her list of reasons not to discriminate against anyone, ever.
I have traveled about 8000 miles in the last 2 months and Columbus was the only city or town that I have been in that still requires masks. Most of the stores also still require you to use hand sanitizer and are still limiting how many people they allow in their stores at one time. Just amazing.

For some reason my go-to meal at any new breakfast spot is a breakfast burrito. Every place has a slightly different take, and this one didn't disappoint!

My only complaint is that they are gluten free, and you could tell. I like gluten, and missed it in my tortilla.

In my two trips here, both times I was surprised at the speed the food was ready. And it's delicious. I usually prefer food with gluten, but they make gluten-free buns and wraps taste just as good.

First time visiting and I was so happy with my breakfast burrito! Got some cheezcake for later that was also wonderful. Seems like it has a cozy vibe for folks dining in, and the staff were so friendly. Definitely planning on stopping by again the next time I’m in Columbus!

I personally prefer Portia’s cafe but Portia’s diner has pizza after 4 each day it’s open. I usually get the yum burger or the tofu gyro. The breakfast menu is also good but I feel like the portions are much smaller.

Portia’s is my “go to” for local, vegan food in my neighborhood! Yum! - Edit
My faves are the burger, the calzone, and the mac n cheese, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Great, friendly, fast service.

I've had the burrito, breakfast muffin sandwich (myfav), waffles, french toast, and the Italian sub (get extra dressing). All have been really good. Love all the options from chili dogs, to calzones. Can't wait to try them all. Great service!

Best healthy vegan food joint around town. Best Italian sub I've ever had that was 100% vegan. My wife says the BLT wrap is the best BLT she's ever had. If you haven't made it out here yet. You are missing out on some of the best vegan food there is.

Portia's Second Location - Edit
Note that there are two different Portia's restaurants in Columbus: Portia's Cafe and Portia's Diner. They have different offerings. The Diner is right across the street from a vegan salon, Virtue Salon. The space used to be Whole World Restaurant, but it has been refreshed. There are free parking spaces along high street. I've been there twice and the service is quick and friendly. Food is awesome too.

Delicious Breakfast - Edit
My husband and I have just recently adopted a whole food plant based lifestyle and this was our first vegan breakfast out. Everything we tried was amazing and even better than a traditional non-vegan breakfast. We are so lucky to have Portia’s Diner so close to home and have quickly become regulars.

Our favorite - Edit
As a family of four with 2 kids, it is our go-to spot. There is something for everyone! Service is always great. The only downside is that there is no designated parking and as a family with a disabled member it makes it slightly precarious. However there is lots of close off street parking and we love it so much that we make it work.
