3 vegan pizzas & 5 vegetarian - Edit

Really tasty pizzas! Visited this place with a group of vegans and vegetarian friends. Between 6 people we devoured 4 vegan pizzas. We were all happy and satisfied with the meal. No complaints whatsoever. We will come back!

Pros: great pizzas , family friendly

Cons: 1 week ahead reservation needed , long wait , crowded

great "sausage" pizza - Edit

Thanks to the other reviews I ordered the pizza with cashew cheese and sausage (sans broccoli rabe cause it's the one veg I don't like). Hot dang it was good. Best sausage I've had on pizza. Great brick oven flavor and the sauce was packed with flavor.

Pros: great pizza

Cons: dunno how many options there are- I was too tired

limited vegan/gluten free options - Edit

Porta Pizzas are INSANELY GOOD. unless yer vegan and or gluten free. Then you are insanely limited. Surprising considering it's asbury park location. They should add a gluten free crust option and widen the vegan cheese selections.

Pros: fun atmosphere

Cons: loud as hell, limited options for vegans

Club? - Edit

Really excited to try their food but the establishment turns into a club after hours on Saturday. Not worth the 30 min wait or the loudmusic.

Great italian style! - Edit

We enjoyed a delicious vegetarian lunch including pizza, pasta and salad.
Courses are small for charged price but quality is excellent.

Pros: Stoneoven Pizza , fresh salad , fine dressings

Cons: tiny courses of you are very hungry :-)

Best Pizza in New Jersey - Edit

Porta changes their menu seasonally so every few months you'll find new vegan/veg options. However, even with all the changes, the taste and quality is totally consistent.

Tips: Don't go on Friday or Saturday night because the place turns into a dance club and it gets loud and uncomfortable.

Pros: Good Food, Good Service, great menu

Great vegan pizza! - Edit

Wow - what a great restaurant for pizza-loving vegans. They have three different vegan pizzas on their menu; we tried two of them and both were great but the marinara pizza was absolutely out of this world. The pizza menu is available for those choosing to sit outside at their picnic tables, which is what we did - there is a more extensive menu inside, but we didn't need it; we were very happy. Highly recommended.

Pros: delicious vegan pizza, great service, you can sit outside
