The burger is something different, definitely, however it’s very bland and has a strange crisp to it. It feel like you’re chewing rice puffs or caramel, because the quinoa puffs so dramatically - not a fan.

185,- for that kind of burger menu is simply robbery in broad daylight. Just.. no.

Really delicious burger - and given my parents' rating, the veggie one was also better than the meat one. In a world filled with burgers, Popl has actually done something different with their fermented patty and I/we loved it. Expensive, but it's gourmetish, so you know what to expect

Not the vegan standard patty! - Edit
I enjoyed the spicy vegan burger with a patty that doesn't try to be meat-like. The quinoa gives it an interesting texture and the level of spice was perfect for me. The fries tasted great and they had also a vegan mayo. What I also liked was that you get even sparkling water for free. The beer was quite expensive though (60 DKK for 0.3 L) and the small volume was not mentioned on the menu.

The burger threw me a bit off, because the bun, i my opinion, tasted like ‘varme hveder’ - a type of bread with kardemomme served at the holiday ‘Store Bededag’. Some might like it though. But the drinks and side dishes were spot on. I had myself an Old fashioned. And we ordered many of the side dishes (fries cabbages, fries, seaweed salad) - they were really great!!

One of the best burgers I’ve tried, although it became a bit too much toward finishing it, as the taste is very strong. But very unique and would try it again! Dips were also delicious!
