Serves meat, vegan options available. Winery with cafe offering vegan dishes including a vegan shared shared platter, curry puffs and salad. Also has vegan-friendly wine and cider. Open Wed-Sun 10:00am-5:00pm.
Closed Mon-Tues.
We had a vegan platter and wine tasting set and really enjoyed the meal. Cauliflower bites we crisp and tasty, the olives were great, and the sourdough crunchy. The platter was really enough for 2 hungry vegans. Would go there again and happily have the same.
Excellent vegan platter with falafel, vegan fetta, sourdough bread and crackers, dips, chutneys, olives, pickled zucchini and fruit. Very fresh and tasty. But note that while the platter is reasonably generous for a tasting plate, it’s not really a main meal. Shared between two hungry hikers we were left just a tad unsatisfied.
No curry puffs on the menu anymore but it does have vegan enchiladas, salad, olives and fries explicitly noted to be vegan.
Picturesque winery and brewery development in a rural setting just outside Gariwerd/The Grampians. Like other reviewers we went here because of the vegan platter for two on the menu. Didn't take a photo unfortunately, but our platter seemed a little more substantial than previous reviewers' - good serve of felafel balls, vegan feta, two dips, vegetables as well as bread and crackers.
Overall the platter seemed well done, everything was tasty and went together well. Fears it would be the "cheese platter minus the cheeses" were thankfully unfounded.
As another reviewer commented, it was difficult to know with confidence which drinks were vegan or not.
A winery and micro brewery with vegan food options. I was so pleased to find this lovely place. They have a couple each of vegan friendly cider, beer and wine. 6 sample paddles $12. I was told by a very friendly staff member that their chef is vegan and they have 3-4 vegan options. The best was their vegan share platter for 2 for $25. No vegan cheese but everything on it was delicious and filling!
A vegan chef does not a vegan-friendly restaurant make. Unless it’s changed since I was there, they don’t even identify which of their wines are vegan, but I guess wines aren’t that important at a winery. Super friendly to vegans, I don’t think.
