Beautiful desserts - Edit

My friend and I had the pleasure of stopping in for dessert, and here's my Pomegranate bakery review.

To my surprise the space is actually quite large for a bakery -- it's more like a dessert cafe, with seating inside and out. The glass cases and stand-alone tables all feature different kinds of baked treats & cookies.

We got a few bags of cookies to share (sesame flavor, green tea, and another). They are hard & crispy, though a few were on the burnt side.

We also brought home a more elaborate dessert with orange cream on top and cake on bottom, and that was exquisite.

I would like to return to try the other items.

Pros: crafted by hand, friendly staff, gorgeous selection

Cons: cookies a bit burnt

too expensive - Edit

I followed them on Instagram and everything seemed bigger there. It's really expensive for what you get. 5$ for three ice cream sliders the size of a quarter, 6 for a small tiramisu. I chose tiramisu because it was the biggest of the normal-priced cakes. Everything was delicious.

Pros: tasty

Cons: tiny little cakes

delicious desserts - Edit

We've gotten desserts to go on several occasions. Everything has been absolutely beautiful and delicious. Tiramisu, mango cheesecake, raspberry chocolate cake, fruit tart, and much more. Dirk has had the crème brulee while eating onsite with some coffee. The décor is lovely and inviting. There are tables outside as well as a couple inside. The café also has a beauty shop area that I have not looked at yet. There are some pre-packaged Shojin meals to go too. Salads and sushi when I was there. I got the crunchy dynamite rolls. The cashier was extremely friendly and nice too and there's parking behind the store. Overall, a terrific place and we can't wait to go back.

Pros: all vegan, desserts!!!, nice staff

AMAZING - Edit

Went to pomegranate today and it COMPLETELY met my expectations! Went with my cousin and we wanted to try everything so we got the small 6 person platter. Everything was outstanding and the service was so good. the people were so glad we were there and ordering a lot. The chef brought out creme brûlée (even though we didn't order it) just so we could actually try everything and I'm SO glad she did be chase it was my favorite! When I was leaving she gave me a free Chapstick and thanks us for coming. This place was amazing i highly recommend it.

Cute cookie shop - Edit

This place is adorable. They have a great selection of cookies and treats. It's a bit intimidating because everything is so beautiful and clean looking. Had some fruit cookies and they were tasty! Will be back, we were the only people in there a Sunday afternoon and I want this place to succeed!

Pros: Yummy cookies, location

Fine Desserts - Edit

Found this cafe listing on Happycow and finally stopped in to try. The shop is quite elegant, and all the desserts look delicious. The selection is quite varied, and everything is vegan. I tried the almond milk tea and their cookies. Both yummy.
