Excellent and creative vegan options - Edit
We have eaten at Poki Poblano twice, and both times we really enjoyed our food. Most items are marked on the menu if vegan, but make sure to tell your server you are vegan, as a couple of sides are vegan but are not marked as such, and some vegan entrees come with a non-vegan side that they swap out. They have a full bar will lots of drinks, including many tiki-style drinks. The service was very friendly. We spoke to the manager and they plan to do some vegan pre fixe dinners, so it is worth following them on social media. The manager and staff understand what vegan means. The dishes are very flavorful. We ordered the vegan Korean fries, which include soy curls and we will probably order them every single time we go. So far, we have also tried the tofu boat noodle soup (very strongly lemongrass, which I love, but not to everyone's taste), the tofu curry noodle soup (excellent mild curry with a very aromatic quality and flavorful despite not being so spicy), vegan asada taco plate (a nice mix of soy curls and poblano peppers), and the beer-battered avocado taco (my favorite, with lovely chunks of deep fried avocado, spicy sauce and tasty pickled cabbage, the flavor profile is heavenly). We ordered a couple drinks and enjoyed those as well.

I wish I could give it 5 stars. The vegan options are plentiful and are AMAZING! I love the vegan dumplings, the vegan tacos, the vegan sliders! Ahhh it’s so good! My husband is vegetarian and he said the tacos with cheese are astounding as well.

There are 15 vegan items on the menu!!! I forgot to take pics of the items I ordered until it was time for dessert......Coconut sorbet served in a baby coconut shell garnished with edible flower, candied pineapple, raspberries and mint. BEST dessert I've had in a long time. Otherwise, we ordered vegan tacos - 3 different types and plantain empanadas. Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted incredible.
