寳明素食 serves vermicelli, noodles with fried mock items. Open Mon-Tue 6:30am-1:00pm, Fri-Sun 6:30am-1:00pm.
Opens on Wed or Thu if it is new or full moon day. Closes earlier if sells out.
On the second floor of the Taman Jurong food building, Mostly local workers there for lunch. Menu changes from day to day. Items include 'chicken' rice and laksa. Fast service. Very friendly. A little bit of English spoken. Food was delicious. As far as I could tell, totally vegan. Either $2.50 or $3.00 a dish. One of the busier food stalls on the floor. If you are in Singapore as a tourist, you won't likely end up in this neighbourhood. If you're in the area, highly recommended.
Poh Meng Vegetarian is located at the 3rd floor with standard vegetarian beehoon and noodles set. I think your review is referring to Ginga Vegetarian. The Vegetarian stall located at 2nd floor. They have different menus. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays unless it falls on the first or fifteenth of the Lunar Calendar. I realized they have changed to use reusable plates and cutlery for dine in which I feel is a good improvement.
