Amazing - Edit
We came here on their plant based Sunday and had 4 different options, every one of which was DELICIOUS. I also had the sticky toffee pudding which was to die for, honestly. The staff were lovely and friendly, I hope they keep up their plant based options.

Plant 🌱 based pub grub with vegan desserts - Edit
Two lovely friendly ladies behind the bar pointed us to our reserved table for two.
Read moreNice to have Vegan choices in a villiage pub, even if most of the punters were ordering “scampi & chips” unfortunately.
On the table next to ours some of the older guests did not seem to know there was a large % of the menu was vegan but proceeded to give it a go I hope, unless they ordered the dreaded scampi & chips.
My mushroom pie with chips & peas didn’t really fill me up so I had to buy a vegan sandwich from the Co-op store across the road.
But thankful for their plant based efforts in such a small village.

Brilliant find - almost all vegan! - Edit
This was a brilliant find for dinner, we were surprised to see most of the menu was vegan and even more surprised that the waitress said ‘we have no meat or dairy on the premises’. They do serve 2 fish dishes, but apart from that it was a brilliant range!

We had a group meal of f*sh and chips with curry and mushy peas sides. Finished with gorgeous biscoff cheesecakes and chocolate torte. Brilliant service from them and incredible food! The fish was so well done, huge portion too!

At last a plant based pub - Edit
Great to find a plant based pub knowing the owner is vegan and 'gets it'. Can order safe in the knowledge that there is no cross contamination with meat products. (I believe the pub started offering one or two non vegan options during lockdown as a takeaway to help through the Covid crisis, apart from that everything is plant based). I've had 2 takeaways from here and recently a meet up with local vegans. We all had the jackfish n chips which was amazing, and I am not normally a fan of jackfruit. Puddings to die for. Highly recommend.

Cons: Not 100% vegan anymore due to covid.

Traditional pub - Edit
All drinks are vegan, so we had 2 non alcoholic beers. Menu is mostly plant based although they do fish and chips. We had Jack & chips which we had with mushy peas, and the Korean pancakes with noodles, dipping sauce & kimchi. Both were tasty & big portions! For dessert we shared a caramelised biscuit cheesecake & followed with oat cappuccinos.

Well worth a visit - Edit
Really good jack and chips. I'll have to go back because the Korean style pancakes also look delicious. Of course it'll be very difficult to resist the jack n chips, so good job they also offer take always

A MUST visit - Edit
Was travelling to London back from Wales when decided to pop in for a pint to this vegan pub. After having a super warm and welcoming chat with the host, a lovely woman who owns the pub with her husband who works in the kitchen, we were invited to stay for the Sunday roast.
Read moreMe and my partner had the bruschetta and falafel starters each. So fresh and delicious, brought over and served by the chef which was a very nice touch. The pictures speak for themselves - the food both looked and tasted amazing.
For mains we both opted for the mushroom wellington. I’m not religious but oh my god was it good. I am a big fan of beyond meat and all that, but the flavour in this dish made me grateful that we weren’t served something that was meant to imitate. It was so jam-packed of flavour and the pastry was so buttery and crisp it was absolutely stunning.
Sadly we didn’t try the dessert as we were so full already but for sure will next time instead of having that second pint.
Coming back here ASAP!
Pros: All vegan - even the alcohol!, AMAZING service! , The food is to die for.

Fabulous Sunday Lunch! - Edit
As a mixed table of vegan and meat eaters, we all agreed the food was fabulous!
Read moreFor starters: Korean mungbean & Kimchi pancakes (Bindaetteok) - simply sensational!
Main: Mushroom Wellington with veg & roast potatoes - delicious & very filling!
Dessert: Creme Brulee - divine!
All the food and drink is 100% plant based, so no need to check. The staff are very friendly and the pub is lovely, as is the town. I'm so pleased to have found somewhere where no compromise is made and I'm happy to bring any of my friends along.
Congratulations to the proprietor and team - I wish you luck for the future and intend to return as soon as I can.
