Food was ok when they finally got it right… - Edit
I stopped in for what I hoped would be a quick meal before a concert. The restaurant was nearly empty and seemed well staffed. No employees knew what was vegetarian or vegan, and we ended up with bland tasting food because they only had soy sauce to season our dishes; everything had fish sauce. My avocado roll had some fish eggs on it. My noodles arrived with eggs and it took nearly a half hour for them to remake it.
We got Spicy Mama noodles and eggplant stir fry. I was surprised because I often get Thai food that comes kind of swimming in sauce, so these dishes looked dry when they came. But they were plenty flavorful. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, not overkill. Ginger tea was yummy. We’ll be back.
Lots of flexibility with the menu to easily accommodate a vegan diet. The spring rolls, Tom Kha with vegetables, and vegan stir fry with vegetables and tofu was absolutely delicious!
NAME HAS CHANGED!!! The restaurant is now named “POY THAI” - didn’t want to cause confusion since Happy Cow assumed my review was for the prior restaurant in this space. 😃
