SO AMAZING & GOOD!!!! - Edit
Among the best Thai restaurants in California! The food is super healthy and tasty too. One thing that makes Plumeria unique is the variety of proteins they offer. It’s not just tofu & mock meats like other vegan Thai restaurants. They have those options, but they also have jackfruit and mixed beans (garbanzo, black, and red beans) to incorporate into any of their dishes. I think this variety of options is a great benefit which helps match any dish to people’s health needs and tastes.

My happy place for vegan Thai food - Edit
I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. My go-to is usually the spicy and crispy faux duck larb, and dear husband’s favorite is spicy pumpkin curry with brown rice. They do spicy from 1-10, but a 3 is already spicy enough for me. We share an order of fresh steamed tofu spring rolls as well as an order of sticky rice with mango when in season. Sometimes we order different dishes, but we usually come back to the same because they’re so good.
Read moreWith my women friends we usually share a large pot of chi soup, crispy duck Rama (stir fried vegetables with faux duck) and mango sticky rice.
But no matter what we order, it’s always excellent as is the service.
Pros: Great vegan Thai food, Great service , In and outdoor seating

Always glad to have guaranteed vegan options at a Thai restaurant — and I don’t think I saw anything that wasn’t vegan on the menu! Definitely recommend trying the vegetarian chicken and duck

One of my favorite vegan spots in north county. The Pad See Ew is amazing and I definitely recommend getting the appetizer sampler because everything is so good! The food can get really spicy really fast so be careful 😁

Spicy food at last - Edit
I wasn't as impressed with this place as I thought I would be, but it was still very good. At the recommendation of the waitress, I got the spicy noodles with "duck." Their food does run pretty spicy. I myself love spicy food and have a higher spice tolerance than most Americans. Their spice scale is 1-5, and 2 was good for me. I probably wouldn't have been able to enjoy the meal as much at 3. The plate was super big. I wish I could have ordered a half portion. It was yummy, but I ended up wishing I had ordered something fresher and less oily.

Great meal - Edit
Wonderfully tasty meal for 2. We ordered a sample tasting plate and a small zen soup followed by a cashew nut sautéed plate with vegetarian duck. Washed down with a Singha beer. Perfect. $70 including tip and tax. Not cheap but worth it.

So good we still talk about it - Edit
We went to Plumeria for a New Year’s dinner while on a Legoland trip with extended family. We didn’t realize how popular it was and that we should’ve made a reservation! But we were early, and they were so kind and accommodating. 4 adults, 3 kids, and we had an amazing feast. Seriously, there was not a single item that was not outstanding! It was all the familiar Thai flavors but dialed up to just a whole other level. Months later, we still talk about it, and it’s the standard against which the kids measure all other Thai restaurants.

Tasty all vegetarian Thai food in the heart of Encinitas - Edit
Location is right in the heart of downtown Encinitas.
Read moreFriendly staff work here. Casual and simple dining indoors or outdoor seating. I went with the pumpkin curry with steamed tofu and brown rice that came shaped like a heart. Ample portions. It came medium heat by default and had a good amount of heat yet not overbearing. I added a touch of the made in house chili oil yet proceed with caution as a little goes a long way since this packs some serious heat.
Flavorful curry with plenty of veggies. I really enjoyed my meal here and recommend coming here!
Pros: friendly staff, tasty cuisine, all vegetarian and mostly vegan

So great! - Edit
Plumeria is my go to Encinitas place they are basically completely vegan and everyone there is so kind and friendly. Not to mention the food is delicious! I highly recommend the fresh spring rolls, samosas, taro tea with boba, larb salad (I get it with tofu), spicy noodles, ka pow, and mango stick rice. The price of everything is totally affordable and the portions are rather large. The interior is so pretty with pictures of Thailand and traditional Thai decor. It is an amazing place to go and I highly recommend it!

Great vegan options! Friendly staff - Edit
We went twice. Surprised with all the options and the portion sizes. Make sure you go hungry😄first time we found the food better but the second time was still good. I don’t remember what I had but I would definitely go back when I have a chance. I like the variety and color of the plates. The menu had clear vegan labels, too.

Not too bad - Edit
The Thai Iced Tea is delicious, the egg rolls are so-so (crunchy, but not alot of flavor), the Tom Yum soup was pretty good, and we're happy with the small size portion option. Final dish was the Spicy Noodles which was like an 8/10, definitely spicy, but not too much flavor. Happy this place exists and has so many options.

Absolutely the best Thai food ever! - Edit
This is the absolute best vegan Thai food restaurant I've ever eaten at. I live in the Bay Area and we have nothing that comes compared to this fabulous place. It feels as though it's good is cooked with love and light. We had the Tom Kah soup which was absolutely fabulous, we had the satay chicken, which I could not believe wasn't real meat. We then got the tangerine chicken and the Rama which we absolutely devoured. And my mother who isn't plant based like myself absolutely loved it. The Thai tea with coconut milk too was scrumptious. Please if you are in this area, take a visit here. I will gladly fly from San Francisco to here just to eat. 10000000/10

Impressive menu with many protein options including veg chicken, duck and jackfruit. I had the pad see ew with duck. It was a good amount of food, not at all greasy and very tasty. I was glad that I ended up not getting a starter, which seemed quite pricey, given the quantity of the entree.
