Lots of vegan options

As mentioned before, it is the Midwest Whole Foods. It is a chain local to Michigan and Chicago, IL. You can pretty much find any organic vegan grocery items that you can think of there. However, it is more expensive than Whole Foods and most other local grocery chains. I like this location better than the Bloomfield hills location because it is larger and easier to maneuver. Takes COVID-19 guidelines seriously.

Pros: Tons of vegan options, Locally sources vegan baked goods and coffee, Usually easy to find what you're looking for

Cons: Expensive, Snobby customers

Great option

Plum is the Whole Foods of the mid west. And it’s not owned by Jeff Bezos, so I like to shop here rather than in Whole Foods.

Nice grocery store

Stopped here to pick up some things for a family dinner. I didn't get through all of the isles but it looked like they had a good selection of vegan meats and cheeses, snacks, dips, kombucha, nut butters, etc. They had a hot/salad bar, with a few vegan options. Their produce department had a decent variety but was not super big. I did see some pieces of jackfruit for sale though. They had a mix of organic and conventional. I found some store brand raw juices, so I purchased the "green genie" and a turmeric, ginger, lemon, cayenne shot. They staff was nice but it was a bit pricey (and I work at an organic/natural food store, so I'm comparing it to other similar types of stores).

Pros: Vegan packaged products available, Friendly staff

Cons: Pricey
