Impressed by the choices - Edit
Had more choices than expected which is great! Scenic area full of birds (love the ducks and geese!!) and food is made quickly. Option to add vegan cheese to any pizzas (and I’d imagine to omit meat), cauliflower wings, and vege burger that can be made vegan. Chips were delicious! Pizzas were a bit too oily but smelled incredible and was delicious.

Ended up here by accident as the place we wanted to go was closed - what a lucky find! Perfect on a hot sunny day as you can sit on bean bags by the river and soak up the rays. Fries have vegan aioli (!!!) and were able to easily adapt the pizza to be vegan

Gobbled up the vegan pizza - Edit
Enjoyed the vegan pizza and fries. Great they do vegan cheese too. The pizza area is an outdoor area at the back of the restaurant so was a little chilly and exposed, although they do have blankets available. Would be great in summer time but would have preferred the option of indoor seating when weather is windy and wet. Indoor restaurant has a different menu with a couple of vegan options.

On the new menu they only have three vegan items, the website isn't updated yet. The two we had were delicious though. The noodle salad with tofu was fresh, light and with a nice crunch from the fried tofu and noodles. As a second dish we had the baked sweet potato with garlic and rosemary. Beautifully cooked and very flavourfull. Ask for sharing plates.

Very little choice for vegans. Only had the option of a beyond patty without any bun due to animal products in dough. We had lettuce with a beyond patty. Had no vegan sauces. Not sure why they offer beyond meat if they don’t cater for at least one full meal

This restuarant is so cute and is nestled on a little lake. They have great vegan options. I was suprised to find a place like this in Northland. I had the beyond burger it was so good!
