cheeseburger 👍🏼, chik'n sandwich 👎🏼 - Edit
came here for a quick burger before a film showing at bryant park 🍔 i'd heard really good things about PLNT burger and was very impressed with the amount of burger options to choose from! i went for the plnt cheeseburger and the crispy chik'n sandwich. this is not to do with the food, but the service at the bryant park store was terrible!! the servers would not take any orders over the counter & we were genuinely waiting in there for 45 minutes for the 2 burgers, so it did not feel like fast food at all. the cheeseburger was insane, so tasty and felt just like i was eating a real burger. the cheese was great, had that proper american plastic cheese feel that burgers out here have - it was a 10/10 burger! the chik'n sandwich was a bit of a let down. some bits of it were cold and the burger overall just tasted slightly off to me? i'm not sure if this is a one off, but i wouldn't want to order the chik'n sandwich again. overall, an okay experience which was majorly saved by how delicious the cheeseburger was, hence the 4 🌟 rating.

Sad that this place seems to be closed now but I figured I'd share my experience.
Read morePLNT Burger came in clutch as one of a few plant-based options around Bryant Park. I was in town for an event and grabbing a vegan burger was very convenient.
I ordered their Fish Filet Burger which were two pieces of fried 'fish' tenders with tartar sauce on a soft bun. The burger was not bad overall. It was interesting eating a burger with two separate pieces for the main inside but I was glad the sauce wasn't too much where it was overpowering.
The Fried String Beans however left much to be desired. The batter fell off each string bean upon picking them up and it was incredibly oily. I've had much better at spots like The Habit so I'd stick with classic fries if you want a side.
I'll likely stick with a more classic burger and fries next time.

Great plant based burgers - Edit
I went here twice while staying on 42nd street, and had the crispy chikn burger with fries and an Oreo mint oatly shake and everything was delicious. You can order through the screen in the store if at the till. Everything came leery quickly too. I loved the sauces that came with the food. I’d definitely recommend. The burgers were mushroom rather then soy based so that was a bonus.

I ordered the chilli cheese fries, some nuggets and an iced tea. I have a sweet tooth and the iced tea was not to my taste at all. The chilli on the fries didn't taste like chilli at all, it was quite burnt, the nuggets were a nice texture, but left a funny aftertaste in my mouth. The staff were very friendly however, but I wouldn't go again.

My steakhouse burger and sweet potato fries were tasty enough for a cheat day. But for a plant-based restaurant to charge $1 just for a single slice of tomato is egregious, even with inflation. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Seating is very limited, but I managed to find a spot.

I visited the place twice and waited for my order (2 different burgers both times) for >10 minutes. In my mind this defeats the purpose of what the place is supposed to be. The burgers are just ok - not too bad but nothing to write home about either. I don't think I'll come back: it's too slow for a fast food joint and too mediocre to wait for it

Conveniently located vegan spot! I got the kid’s meal of 5 chickn nuggets and sweet potato fries! It was really good but wish there were more nuggets and less fries. Also, there is some seating inside but not much.

The burgers at PLNT are so good and I never have to wait more than a few minutes. I only wish the location was bigger and nicer for dining in. Side perk is that when the weather is nice Bryant Park is just steps away.

I got a combo meal with a cheeseburger and fries. The milkshakes also look really good too. Can't beat an all vegan place. They were also very good with allergies, so you can ask if anything has any allergens and the staff are well informed.

Ordered the cheeseburger, small herb fries with a side of maple mustard, and a can of coke. Had a $5 off welcome offer so it came to less than $12 for the whole meal - not bad at all. Food was so flavorful and delicious. Really enjoyed!
