Worth a visit for the pops! - Edit
Come here for a pop if you want a treat. At least half are vegan and marked as such, with an interesting to strange range of flavors. The flavors rotate, but some of my favorites have been peach hibiscus and Mexican chocolate. YUM! Especially when the weather is nice, it's nice to pair a trip to Adams Morgan and/or nearby Meridian Hill Park with a stop here. And they're $3 (including tax), so not breaking the bank either.
I've never had the food. Last time I was in (this week) all of the sandwiches and salads were vegetarian, but they also all came with cheese. I suppose they might be able to easily make one vegan, but if you're hungry and in this part of town, you should probably just go to DC institution Amsterdam Falafel, an Ethiopian restaurant, Julia's Empanadas, or one of the other vegan-friendly restaurants on nearby 18th street.
Edited June 2016: The food menu seems to have gotten more vegan friendly and vegan options are now marked, so that's a plus! But to be honest I still haven't tried the food, although I still stop by when I can for a pop!
Pros: Popsicles!!!, Fun flavors

Vegetarian Fun on a Bar - Edit
Does eating a popsicle make you think of see-saws, summer picnics, running around until night fall and free spirited fun? Well, eating a popsicle from this joint makes me feel all of that and then some. It's good clean eating - much better for you than a chunk of ice cream. They are obviously vegetarian, but at least half are vegan. When you check out the menu board, they list them as such, so you don't have to ask a million questions about everything you are thinking about trying without eating dairy. Awesome.
I don't know why I didn't make the connection that they have coffee… but they do! As a veg establishment, I figured maybe it'd be ok, but, it was more than ok. It is better than some other local coffeehouses! However, the beans are from MD, so not local DC local, but still local. I like it better than some renowned DC beans, though, so it's all good. Add on soy or almond milk for about $0.68 or was it $0.63?! Get it hot or cold, it's good. Add in syrup and flavoring if you want to, but… the latte with the almond milk is already pre-sweetened. That may be the only down side, but, if you're here, you probably wanted a sugary frozen treat?
Fun items in the cold case like pre-made vegan salads like fennel-orange, farro-based and apple curry quinoa. Also, for those interested……. some local eggs and dairy products are in there, including some pies and yogurts.
Interested in a few random local goods? How about a loaf of Lyon Bakery bread? Maybe some chocolate bars? Don't forget a tshirt or tote bag? Also, a couple vegan baked goods from PA and DC, both of which were peanut and maple-based. Nice to have options, though!
The space is fun and open, people just chilling there on their Macs and laptops, a few conversations, good music, outdoor seating and an expansive window view. The only problem is if you want to try more than one pop…. it might melt on you while you eat one?!

Best cafe in DC! - Edit
Pleasant Pops is a fantastic community-owned operation in Adams Morgan. The owners Roger and Brian are super friendly and Eco-conscious. Pleasant Pops is technically a kosher restaurant, but due to their love of the environment they not only serve meatless dishes, they also incorporate renewable energy into their energy mix and retail produce from local farms. And they have the best frozen treats in DC (try their Coconut pop!)
Pros: Great menu, Kind owners, Location
