Can be modified - Edit
There is a clearly labeled section for vegetarian options and only one truly vegan item.
Read moreThe vegetarian items can be modified to make them vegan, but you will have to be very specific.
Also this is one of those places where they will add extra stuff to your meal for some reason (ex. Mushrooms weren't listed on the vegetarian fajitas, but they put them in there anyway).
I really like the atmosphere. It's a huge building with beautiful Spanish style tiles all over the walls. It has a TGIF vibe, but with mexican inspired flair. The menu itself is huge, but it only has a small section for vegetarian/vegan options.
I thought it was still a great option if you are looking to go somewhere with a group and still be included as a vegan.
There is a vegan bowl and it's the only truly vegan item on the menu without modifications. I saw the vegetarian fajitas so I decided to get those and just ask for no sour cream.
Nowhere did it say that the beans would be covered in cheese and mushrooms were not listed but they were added to my fajita vegetables. Next time I will make sure to say "No sour cream, no mushrooms, and no cheese" to get the vegan option. I would have thought saying "no sour cream" would have given them the idea that I can't have dairy, but they didn't ask and they didn't assume and I didn't know the beans on the side would come with cheese.
Otherwise the food was really yummy. The fajitas come with tortillas, rice, and beans (covered in cheese). It was a good portion of food, and of course it doesn't have any protein, so it isn't a complete meal, but it is still good.
I would recommend this place for groups or something a little different if you are looking for vegan food in the Allentown area.
Pros: Vegan item, Lots of seating
Cons: Only one vegan option, Specifically ask for no cheese

Vegan option listed on menu - Edit
While there were a few options that were easily made vegan on the menu, I love that they have a “vegan bowl” listed on the menu-vegan without any mods. It makes it so easy to know it was made properly. The vegan bowl was large and had great flavor. I’ll get it again!

Nice Veg/Vegan options - Edit
Didn’t have many expectations, but this place has a section on their menu for veg/vegan and we’re happy to modify anything else as well.
