So incredibly good!!! 😋

Came here for a family (vegan and non-vegan) birthday and they were so accommodating to everyone!! The menu all looked so delicious! Even though they were out of the vegan egg which I really wanted to try, the peri-peri chicken which also amazing and the portion was really generous too. We were given some free pastel de nata and they were incredible too! I definitely recommend 😋👌

A vegan gem

I think every vegan in Bristol has been here. And for good reason, food is delicious. My husband took me for my birthday and I loved being able to try a bit of everything. I loved the pastal de nata too!

Incredible food

The staff at Plantuguese are so so lovely, and the food is incredible!
Cannt recommend the Croquettes and Pica-Pau enough.
Can't wait to come back here already!
Make sure you save room for the soft serve with Nata, it's so good!

Well worth a trip

We wanted to come here since seeing it on social media and we were not dissapointed. We opted for the small plates: Pica-Pau (really nicely flavoured), sardines, croquets (one of my personal favourites and the calamari.
We had a pastel de nata as dessert and got a couple more to take away with us.
All the food was so tasty and the staff were really polite.
We also tried a pastel de nata martini which was outstanding.

Such a friendly place, gorgeously decorated. A brilliant mural on the wall which the lady serving me told me about. Definitely a different menu to the norm. exquisitely presented. I would highly recommend it.

Very tasty food!

I went there recently and experienced a blast of flavours! Starting with their olives with lupin beans, then Francesinha and for the dessert Pastel de Nata with coconut ice cream. I never knew than lupin beans taste so cheesy. Francesinha was flavourful and rich with lots of meats. But I must say, I preferred Bacalhau à Brás, that my friend ordered and I had a chance to try it. Pastel de Nata with ice cream was heavenly tasty, I would eat 10 more of them.

Amazing vegan food

As a vegan who has been missing sea-food, it was great to see such a different, inventive and tasty menu! I had the oyster mushroom scallops (the sauce was so lush), calamari & the arroz de marisco, which were all delicious. Definitely will be going back to try more of the menu and to have another pastéis de nata! ☺️

Amazing food

👌🏻It was so good that we returned multiple times in just a few days.
We especially loved the bacalhao (cod) à bras and the soupy seafood rice (Arroz de mariscos). Just for those 2, they earned 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

👎🏻On a different night, we also tried the Francesinha and it's historically extremely heavy even in the non-vegan version. This one was equally heavy, even though we shared 1 between 2 people and I promised myself not to have it ever again. But it's not the restaurant's fault, it's the dish itself.

🍰Dessert: Didn't like the biscuit cake, it seemed dry and too sweet for my taste.

Pros: Bacalhao à bras, Arroz de mariscos, Music in the background

Cons: Biscuit cake, Francesinha (historically too heavy)

Good take on vegan fish!

Had a really nice dish of potato and vegan cod (bacalhau à bras) with Pastei de Nata! Nice to see another cuisine veganised.

Very good

We tried all the small plates, our favourite was the Pica-Pau one. Which was excellent. Would have liked a basket of bread or something on the table. Some of the textures etc in some of the other dishes were a bit too “like” for my liking! Like the scallops one for example, I have never eaten real scallops, but it made me think of shell fish.

A gem in Bristol!

Really happy to have stumbled upon this place online. It’s got a great selection of menu items, the portions sizes are super generous (I ordered too much!) and if you care about protein, then this is the place for you. Also the staff were really kind. I had a lovely laid back solo dining experience, thank you!

Muito gostoso!

Been so looking forward to visiting ever since I first tasted their delicious food at @kordiaevents vegan fair in Brackley. Everything exceeded expectations and I’m so delighted it’s all going so well at their new restaurant in Stokes Cross. Whether you’re vegan, veggie or anything else- no question that their food is absolutely delicious. 💙💙💙 Will definitely be back!
