Yorkshire Puddings - Edit
Love these yorkshire puddings, one of the best I've tried! Delicious Sunday roast, the perfect hangover cure at VCO, just missing some stuffing.

Yorkshire puddings 😍 - Edit
So pleased to see somewhere to leave a review!
Read moreWe first tried Plantside at Vegan Camp Out 2023. We've been buying the Yorkshire puds ever since, from the V Spot at Nottingham and also Mighty Plants.
They weren't on the line up for Vegan Camp Out 2024, so you can imagine our delight at seeing them!
We had "proper" dinners on Saturday and Sunday, with the interesting addition of trying Redefine Meat on the Sunday. The friends we were with are recent vegans and they said it tasted exactly like beef brisket. After 33 years of no meat eating for me, it was a taste and texture that I didn't really get on with, but the veg and Yorkshire pudding, along with the pie, were excellent as always.
If you see these guys pop up, it's definitely worth the time queueing!

Redefine Beef Sunday Roast! - Edit
The redefine beef sunday roast was immense, as was the toad in the hole we had two days prior, lovely staff and a fast turnaround time for the food, a great addition to TBVCO2024 :)

Love Plantside - Edit
Found Plantside whilst travelling from Lancashire to Cornwall and called for lunch. What a fabulous place right on the high street but with a beautiful walled garden to the rear. We ordered a aubergine parmigiana and a portobello mushroom brunch plate with two teas and oat milk.
Read moreThe food was delicious and it was so tranquil sitting in the garden in the sunshine. I had a chat with owner Anna and expressed how much we enjoyed our visit. Definitely a place to visit if you want great food in a peaceful setting.

Amazing find! - Edit
We visited on a camping holiday at nearby Waterrow, and what a find!! We had our two dogs with us and it wasn’t a problem; quick walk through the cafe led us to a gorgeous outside space. Spoilt for choice - I had the warm mezze (amazing!) and my husband had the pie & bubble and squeak. We took chocolate orange cupcakes and Yorkshire puddings to go too! Service was fantastic, really friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic food & Stagg - Edit
Went twice in one week as blown away by this place. Lovely outside seating area, food cooked fresh, great Coffees and incredible cakes made by a local lady. I had the roast too with my family and wow best roast ever. The staff as so nice and friendly and makes it feel nice being out after covid as a lot of restaurants everyone seems very moody. Will be a regular here even just for coffee and cakes

Fantastic spot for brunch, lunch and a Sunday roast. Zero compromise BLT & milkshakes and the wedges are legendary.

Sunday lunch - Edit
After delays on the M5 we were 2 hours late for lunch but the staff were extremely obliging and cheerful. The food was wonderful despite having to be kept for us. Vegan Sunday roast lunch doesn't come much better than this. We hardly had room left for chocolate brownie but we managed one between us!

We were two hours late but everyone still smiled! - Edit
We had a nightmare journey there for our Sunday lunch. We got stuck on the M5 because of an accident. We phoned them several times, but they were always so understanding. When we arrived, over 2 hours late, we were greeted with smiles.
Read moreSadly they had sold out of the nut roast, so I had quiche with the normal roast trimmings - roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and lots of veg and gravy. My partner had a mushroom pie.
Afterwards we shared a choclate brownie and icecream - one of the best I've ever had.
We will definitely be going back.
Pros: friendly, totally vegan, delicious

Takeaway last night was brilliant. Tried other local places for takeaway such as the Indian and Chinese restaurants but the veg options lack variety and green! Wide variety of options and well cooked, and another massive plus really healthy...yum

We stopped in here for some lunch last week and had a lovely mezze platter followed by coffee and vegan cheesecake. The food was delicious and the vibe sitting outside in their large enclosed garden with our pup was lovely. Would totally recommend.
