Delivery Service - Edit
While they no longer have a restaurant to sit in, you can order online for pickup or delivery. This was some of the best food I had in Merida. The tacos, the chile rellanos, the burger, the wraps, the muffins, that carrot cake! I tried it all. It was that good!! You can also order their homemade items like tofu and seitan burgers. Highly recommend this wonderful service from wonderful people.

Best tacos! - Edit
I loved the place and the food. It might have been the best taco I’ve had during this trip to Mexico.
Read moreAll the food is vegan, the staff is super nice and speaks English, there’s kombucha and other healthy drinks, and all of it is SUPER affordable.
It’s the place I’m definitely gonna go back to before I leave Merida. The space is also incredibly beautiful and walking distance from the centre.
Don’t wait longer! That’s your sign to go there. Please mind that it closes early, at 3pm.
Pros: Tacos, Space, Price

A must vegan spot in Mérida - Edit
I was really surprised with this place, food was tasty, they had a vegan cochinita which I don't understand why other vegan restaurants do not offer. All dishes looked so yummy and portions were really filling. I'll be coming back for sure!

Lovely space, lovely food and lovely staff - Edit
I popped in looking for somewhere for lunch. The space has a lovely, clean and fresh vibe with a bookshop and clothing store as part of the set up. The restaurant has a lot of veganised local dishes, mainly seitan based, and some other options with veggies and nut cheeses. They have some homemade drinks too. The ginger beer was lovely.

Good food and comfortable place - Edit
Delicious weekend brunch with house made vegan cheese and seitan. Many options but my favorite is the salpicón a traditional yucatecan dish. The concept also has a space where you can buy secondhand books and clothing.

Increíble - Edit
I loved Plants of Wonder! I was craving authentic Mexican food (vegan style) and Plants of Wonder fit the bill! I was able to have vegan chilaquiles, that was so flavorful and filling. They make all their food in-house. The center is cool because in addition to the restaurant there is a clothing shop, bookstore, and shop. #Veganuary

Great environment - Edit
Unusual layout and hours, but this place's food is great. We've tried most of what's in their short menu and everything was delicious. They also sell some frozen food to take and there's a little second hand clothing store.

Good food, Amazing vibe - Edit
Plants of Wonder is part of a concept or collective of sustainable and conscious living. It can be a bit hard to find as you enter at the sign of Centro Cultural La68. There is a really great second-hand shop (good, cheap, clean), a bookshop and yoga studio.

Great portion size and value for money - Edit
We had the tacos which is only 120 pesos and is 6 tortillas which is enough to share if not that hungry. The fresh flavoured waters are nice and the venue is really great. Only negative was it was quite oily and a bit messy to eat.

Great food, amazing atmosphere - Edit
We ate at Plants of Wonder twice and ordered delivery once. Everything was amazing and incredibly fresh-tasting. They make their tofu, seitan, and cheeses themselves and they’re all excellent. I really loved the albondigas and ricotta cheese. The owner/operator is so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

100% Recommend! - Edit
The food was delicious.
Read moreThey have few options but they are all spot on.
I had the cochinita tacos which are made with their home made seitan and my fiance had chickpea salad which is like a Spanish "ensaladilla rusa" which is one of their 2 gluten free options.
Only thing I didn't like is they didn't sell beer... So the vegan restaurateurs are aware, just because we're vegan doesn't mean we don't enjoy a cold beer with our meal lol
