Tasty vegan food so close to Oxford Street - Edit
Nice place, just off Oxford Street. Very convenient as there are hardly any vegan places so close to the shopping area. I had the salad bowl with three different options: Broccoli, pumpkin and chickpea and fritters, with a spoon of humous added. Everything on my plate was delicious, nicely seasoned and full of flavour. Yum! There is free access to tap water (option of still or sparkly). Only downside may be that it is a bit pricey?? But having said that, considering the location it might be normal??

Great food, small portions - Edit
Small portions in a bowl, three different choices for over £8? Also if requested the aubergine itself that was £8 alone as an extra!!
Read moreThe staff is very friendly.
It was in winter so there was cold outside but nonetheless there should be a better extraction system for the steam, arrived home smelling of kitchen.
These are areas to improved but for the rest it is a lovely place in a lovely location too!!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Friendly staff , Nice basement area and location too
Cons: Expensive for the amount given, More variety perhaps?! Many salads (which I love), No a good extraction system

SO Delicious!!!! - Edit
It is rare to fine a place that is both plant based and gluten free. How wonderful - it means I can eat everything on the menu! I love this place. Fresh with so many options. Unfortunately I don't live in the U.K. so I don't get to go very often but I make up for it when I do. The last time I had banana bread and hot chocolate for breakfast (both amazing) and also had them make me up a big box of food to take on my flight back to the U.S. Best plane food ever! I had a mix of different salads and a peanut butter cookie. Truly delicious. Just wish I lived closer or that there were places like that here.

Good but expensive - Edit
I had breakfast which was great as not so many places are open in the morning. I went for the bagel which tasted good but I don’t think it was homemade like I expected. I would have preferred to have the almond butter and jam separate to add myself and I would have been more generous. Tasted good though and coffee was great. Staff were friendly.

Worth a visit... - Edit
Had a lovely meal here with my mum. Great selection of sweet and savoury dishes, and a lot cheaper than we expected given the location! Deal and salad was delicious, though have had more flavoursome curries. Staff were lovely and knowledgable, and atmosphere nice. Toilets were gross, but staff happy and apologetic when informed of this. Would defo visit here again! Highly recommend this little gem!

Beautiful interior, food could be better - Edit
Deliciously Ella is a very cosy food outlet off Oxford Street owned by Ella Woodward, whom I follow for vegan food inspiration on social media. Unfortunately I thought the avocado toast I had was a little plain and overpriced, and will not be in a rush to return here.

I don’t know whether it’s a crush or whether I’m just fan-girling but everything about Ella’s brand & her story puts her miles ahead as a real protagonist in the mainstream vegan movement.

Absolute management fail. No one knows what’s going on. The hot food had mostly ran out when we got there and they were making a fresh batch but we weren’t allowed to order it until it was prepared because they might forget, but we had to order the available ones, and had to queue again to order the others and and and just eugh! Just a nightmare. My friends and I ordered different stuff. I was clearly given the scrapes of the yellow curry, it was a modest portion, mostly rice with a bit of curry sauce and I later realised that I’d been given about a third of what the normal portion size was according to the other plates that kept coming and going. Everything tasted very average, food was good but nothing to rave about. The hot drinks were great, the turmeric latte was one of the best I’ve had. Price point was fair for vegan food bang in the middle of central. Loads of healthy options. Staff are a mess but had potential if they’re actually trained.

Bit of let down / pricey - Edit
Went to Deliciously Ella with strong expectations which were not met. My wife is a big fan of her recipes, so this is something we were both looking forward to. We both opted for the salad bar (choice of 3 salads for £9.75). I asked for some green leaves and almost had heart failure when I was told I would be charged £3.75 extra. Surely, £1 would be reasonable or maybe all salad bowls should include a leafy base (?). Flavours in the salads were a bit flat and they lacked punch. Also, the salads were all a bit wet. Wouldn’t go back and can’t recommend, which is a shame.

Vegan, healthy and delicious! - Edit
One of my favourite places to get food in London. All vegan and pretty healthy as well so you end up feeling great. Lots of vegetables included in their dishes. Desserts are delicious as well, especially the peanut fudge slice! A bit pricey but worth it. The place is lovely and cozy and people who work there are extremely friendly! Take away available.

lovely place that could do better - Edit
my sister is a huge fan of Ella and her cooking and therefore this place was a must visit.
Read morethe ice teas are great! very natural taste, i loved the decoration (and the real, fresh fruits inside). we ordered a main (chili) and their salad plate (3 choices for 9,95) and shared. alltogether i paid about 27 pounds for 2 drinks, 2 dishes and 2 slices of bread.
food was plenty of food for the two of us.
the chili came with sweet potato wedges (not your usual baked/fried ones) and some hummus topping. the hummus wasn't exactly my taste but my sister loved it.
all salads were lovely, i really enjoyed that you could get a lot ot different toppings (seeds, chili, coriander). it's very nice food that's just healthy and hardly seasonded - some of it could have been nicer with a few spices.
one thing bothered me here: i ordered two slices of their sourdough bread (for a pound each, which i consider quite a lot) and it took forever - while my food was getting cold (the chili, obviously not the salad). when receiving the bread, one slice was burnt (half of it!). in a healthy retaurant i wouldn't expect this at all. i asked for a new one, which was no problem, but i don't think i should have received this in the first place.
alltogether, the food deserves 4 stars but because of the incident i'm reducing it to 3.

The food here is healthy and also very tasty. We quickly ordered and paid for our food at the bar. The location was really nicely decorated and felt like a higher end cafe. The flavors of the food were really great. One of our favorite plant-based spots in London!
