This is the place I've frequented the most since moving to Gainesville. Their chick'n sandwiches are amazing, and their burgers are good too. I just heard they won't be renewing their lease at Midpoint, so visit or revisit this place THIS week

I first discovered plantology in my freshman at UF and fell in love with the food and the atmosphere. For the last three years, I’ve had plantology on every single one of my birthdays and on countless occasions to cheer me up after class. I love this place and I’m so sad that it is closing down😭😭 The cheezy will forever be my favorite. I wish I knew the recipes😩

This is a vegan food truck, with fairly affordable prices and very tasty food. I ordered three things, all of which were only $4-5 each and they were all fantastic. The soy curls were cooked excellently and packed with flavor, the chicken was very realistic (and came with a sugarcane bone), and the Mac and cheese had some stretch to it.

The menu is classic veganized American food but they have some fun and creative options that I’ve never seen before. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the food park the truck is located in, the only thing missing is a brewery or beer truck. Overall the food was very good, they make a solid homemade vegan patty. My only complaint is that the bun was a little stale.

The menu is great with numerous options of comfort foods. However, the spicy Mac and Cheese bowl I had was cool (not cold) and fairly runny. Without the hot sauce it would have been blad (I had Mac on a burger as well and it was bland). Thankfully the hot sauce flavor and added chick'n bits were flavorful.

Loved the food. Great service with friendly staff. Food was ready fast and tasted amazing. The mac n cheese is too DIE for. 🥰😍 Was in the area for a museum and needed lunch. Will definitely make the drive out again just for the food!! 😊

i walked through pouring rain to get this meal because i really wanted to try plantology, and i’d definitely come back! i ordered ahead for pickup and i was there at the time it said my order would be ready, and i received my food at the correct time.
Read morei wanted to try the bbq chick’n sandwich and one of the mac bowls. the bbq chick’n sandwich was delicious!! the soy chick’n was super realistic and i loved the crunchy slaw. just a warning though that this sandwich is incredibly messy to eat. it came with fries too, but i found the fries were pretty soggy and i probably wouldn’t order them again. i also ordered the everythjng mac bowl, which had soy chick’n, croutons, ranch, buffalo sauce, slaw, and some house sauce. the mac itself was a nice variation from what i usually see in mac and cheese, i think it was supposed to be muenster. the toppings were also fun, and i liked all the different textures and flavors.
i would say plantology is a must-visit in gainesville 🙌

Most of the food here tastes GREAT! The fake chicken and fake bacon tempeh is perfect!!! I will say…this place is expensive though 😭…$14 for a burger is wild. No sides or drink with that. It’s in a cute area and very aesthetic. The mac and cheese is also fairly bland. but I still thought it was solid. Overall, tastes good but probably won’t go here again because it’s pricey for what it is.

We went here in early January of 2023 and I forgot to review then 😅 we were passing through Gainesville on a road trip and needed quick vegan food - this did not disappoint!! What a cute area too. My only wish was if the seating area had more shade but I’m sure that’s out of the restaurant’s hands.

This place is super cute, located in a food truck garden with a few other trucks. They have tables with each truck but also picnic tables, hammocks, loungers, and corn-hole. The chicken sandwich was out of this world, Mac and cheese was super creamy, homemade ranch was so damn good. The loaded Mac was not enough for a whole meal so my wife went back and got some chkn tenders which she said was so delicious. A must try if in the area!

When I tell you this place has so many great options, I’m not kidding. I stared at the menu forever before finally deciding what to get. I ended up getting the sunshine burger & a side of Mac & Cheeze. Both were amazing! That cheeze sauce is 💯!

We were looking for a break off the road for some lunch. Plantology is a food truck located along with others at a cute little park. Nice picnic area! I had the buffalo ranch sandwich with fries, my husband had the Everything Mac bowl. The portions were filling and pretty good. We will keep this place in mind for future trips

I got the Buffalo sandwhich with fries. I found the “chicken” to be flavorful and yummy. The bread was thick & I wish it had more sauce or spread. I will be eating here again because it’s so close and I want to try more dishes. Overall filling.

This was the whole package for me, reasonable pricing (these days!), all vegan, cute location (little park of food trucks with nice seating, bathrooms and other food trucks with vegan options!) and super friendly service, and most importantly delicious food! We all got something in the Buffalo chick’n variety so not a wide selection to review but it was very tasty. Probably my favorite stop on this trip.
