Beautiful interior and had one great vegetarian (vegan?) option, but I don't think the restaurant should be listed as a vegan restaurant here anymore. The server said the restaurant is no longer vegan.

Dit is het minder duur geprijsde restaurant in het Sapphire hotel waar ook het gastronomische WILDn is gehuisvest.

De gerechten die je bij PLANTn krijgt zijn lekker en mooi gepresenteerd, de bediening is vriendelijk en vlot.
Als dessert aten we een uitmuntende Crème brûlée.

Did not do my homework well and was surprised to end-up in The Marriot Sapphire House hotels Plantn restaurant. Excellent food, delicious and high quality. Portions are not large as you expect in an up market place like this. However, felt fully satisfied after 3 fantastic courses.

While vegan options, including a fine-dining 4-course vegan menu, are available, there is little sense of a vegan experience. A number of fellow guests enhance this aspect (“I would highly discourage the vegan menu.”) The hotel also sells designer leather handbags.

We were expecting a great vegan lunch, but apparently PLANTn no longer exists there and it is turned into a more regular bistro. Ok, some vegetarian options still available. But nut at all what you see online.

Warning:,2 weeks ago they changed their menu. Still vegan options but also meat, fish and dairy dishes. Poor quality. The website still claims the hotel and restaurant are vegan. The breakfast is also not vegan, still has vegan options. We paid 35 euro pp. A lot for what you get.

Je krijgt net wat anders dan anders; gerechten die je niet snel bij andere restaurants zult krijgen en al helemaal niet thuis maakt.

We stayed at Plantn today on our vegan trip through Europe. It was awesome. We enjoyed every second of our stay. Let's start with the wait staff: they were friendly, courteous and extremely attentive.

As a main course we had vegan fries with sauces, a vegan corrot burger, another vegan burger with vegetables and vegan pancakes with shitaake mushrooms as a bacon substitute.
Wow, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed every bite so much. The ambiance was nice too. The chairs were comfortable, the atmosphere great and the music was 80s :).
After the restaurant visit, next time we will not only eat here, but also spend the night in the adjoining hotel. Please keep it up. You are great and outstanding in Europe!

Good breakfast in a nice hotel - Edit
I booked for breakfast and was given the choice of two rooms to sit in. I chose a seat near a window which was lovely. Croissants and rolls were brought out initially and there was jam, peanut butter and chocolate spread to choose from. They brought out a plate with yoghurt and granola, fruit, and a bread with feta and tomatoes and rocket. It was good and then the next plate came out. I just chose a waffle and an omelette. The omelette was amazing. I really enjoyed it. I also had juice and coffee and they were both good.

Neither the restaurant not the hotel would answer the phone to make a reservation. I had to email them, which worked except the restaurant did not have my reservation when I arrived. They were able to seat us though.
Read moreThe place looks classy, but I had mixed feelings about the food. I ordered the pancake, which was not a pancake. It was a small inch-thick flat bread, with salad on top. It was ok. My companion ordered the mushroom burger, which was very tasty, very well cooked. The Belgian fries were, well, just fries, what can you expect. And the starter "little gem". Was basically a salad, not bad but nothing special. So, in general, alright but not worth the price.
The service wasn't great. Though we were the only ones in the restaurant, i repeatedly had to go find a server to help with refilling water. And when it came time to pay, they charged me 3.5% for using an American credit card, which I'm pretty sure it's wrong but I could not convince the server and when I complained the restaurant returned the difference, to avoid this place click on EUR on the credit card machine if you want to pay in euros regardless of what the server tells you.

Good creative food. Fine dining style. Very expensive. Only Plantn was open, Wildn was not. Breakfast is super overpriced. We had dinner a couple of nights, the tasting menu was creative. Drinks were great. Atmosphere and hotel are beautiful. They served eggs for breakfast which we were surprised with considering its advertised as plant based.
