Look for the H-Yard Gourmet Deli sign - Edit

How to best describe Plantega? Plantega is a vegan menu inside H-Yard Gourmet Deli. I had bookmarked and had unknowingly passed this place and never realized until I intentionally looked for it during a lunch break. So look for the H-Yard sign and be confident you are in the right place.

They have a whole vegan menu with deli favs such as bacon egg and cheese, chopped cheese, and chicken parm. It’s all vegan, no sub! I asked three times, because whaaa…?! Don’t do this. They get annoyed. Believe it the first time.

Being at work, I chose the less messy fried chicken sandwich. It was okay. Needed more cheese and sauce. Respect be damned, next time I’m getting that chopped cheese.

TBH, I’d take a star or two off if they get annoyed for you asking that. They cook on a mixed grill, vegan food right next to the dead bodies & parts. Plus, sounds like they have a habit of putting non-vegan ingredients in whenever someone cooking there doesn’t care to know the difference. It’s a great menu, but poorly managed. I appreciate that they have this Plantega menu, but they ought to be more humble knowing just how risky they run their show.

Read the other comment saying as such and adjusted my rating. I did not see the grill where I ordered so I could not verify. Also, I went after the post-lunch rush. Regardless, it was my first and last time at any Plantega.
