Vegan lunch

They have a separate vegan menu, although, it is not as extensive as their non-vegan one. I already tried all 4 kinds of their rice bowls (don't have pictures of all), given their cheap price I did not expect much but all were surprisingly good. I promise! 😋
I just hope they stick with the all-vegan concept and expand their vegan menu.

Nothing

Open but these guys are now only selling the Kilometer 1 meat-based menu. The plant menu is available but they only had 2 items of the 20 available. I walked out and ate at a street stall where you can also find rice with green beans, mung beans, squash for only about 100 PHP.

Hi Kevin! We are deeply sorry that this was your experience. We do run out of some items every now and then because we do keep our stocks low and just make enough to keep the daily stocks as fresh as possible. But we promise to improve and make sure that we have all items available all the time. Right now we are just really operating as a cloud kitchen available through Grabfood (a delivery app). But since a lot of customers need to dine in, we requested our host restaurant, Kilometer One to accommodate orders for us, and they were kind enough to agree. But we have a separate kitchen outside of our host restaurant. We are working on having our own dining space soon and we are also in the process of making major improvements in our product line. I hope you give us another chance by then. We will keep everyone posted here. Again, we sincerely apologize.

Same kitchen, separate name + menu

At first we were told that the chef was not in today and they could make any vegan food (apparently only one person can make this menu), but luckily the guy walked in 3 min later and they were able to make some food for us!

The food was quite tasty, but ranged from a cold sauce (out of the fridge), luke warm to cold rice, and hot, cooked veggies. The taste was nice. It’s the only vegan menu around, so I am really grateful to have this. At the same time, I wouldn’t necessarily return for it.

Hi Huraiquire! We are so sorry that you experienced this. Since our kitchen is outside the restaurant, miscommunication can happen, specially when our point person inside the dine in resto is not around. But we promise to improve on this. As for the food, we will make sure it doesn't happen again, and all our food be nicely warmed. I hope you can give us another chance as we will be rolling out new products and our own dining space soon. Again, from our little kitchen we say sorry.

Yummy Food from Both

I ordered from both the Planted menu and the Kilometer One Diner menu which is where the vegan menu operates out of. I was skeptical about the corned beet bowl, but it was very good and didn’t taste beet-y at all! Fixings included lettuce, sweet potatoes, and turmeric rice with a ‘cheese’ sauce. It was more of a lemony sauce, but it was still a nice add on to the bowl.

I also got to try the monggo beans and sauteed sayote. As long as you tell them no meat (carne) and no fish sauce (patis) nor fish paste (bagoong), you should be good.

It isn’t a fully vegan kitchen. If you’re worried about cross-contamination, that might be something to consider.

Service is also a bit slow but that’s kind of part of the culture #filipinotime

Pros: Lower price, Good food

Cons: Not fully vegan kitchen, Service is a bit slow (Filipino time)

Hi monaeatsveganthings! We are very glad that you liked our food. As for the worry in cross-contamination, we do have a separate kitchen outside of the restaurant. Kilometer One was just kind enough to accommodate our request to welcome our customers who would like to dine in. But, we are working on having our own dining space soon and more! We will keep you posted here. Again, thank you for dining with us and we hope to see you again soon!

Nice affordable food, the only down side is that they also serve meat at this place.

P.s. Can be very crowded around lunch time.

Pros: Affordable , Tasy, Nice staff

Great concept- don’t get sweet potato

They have a small but delicious vegan menu which is actually 100% vegan, unlike a lot of the places in PH. The falafel burger tasted more like tempeh so i couldn’t complain, it was delicious, but quite small.
The fries were a little bit disappointing, because the sweet potato was incredibly hard, the normal potato was great though, so just go with that and save yourself 20pesos.
Glad this place exists, their vegan cheese sauce is delicious!

A vegan diner

inside of a regular diner. On Google maps this place is "Kilometer One Diner".
The menu here is not that vast, only several options, but it's perfect for a quick lunch before exploring the huge park nearby.

No longer only vegan

It's no longer a vegan only place. It's clubbed with the KM 1 Diner which serves regular meat as well.

Pros: Food is good but no longer vegan only

Affordable fast-food!

Their food is cheap not to mention their generous serving. I didn't like the cheese tho because it didn't taste like cheese compared to vegan cheeses that I have tried. I once ordered cornbeet rice bowl and the cheese sauce overpowered the overall taste. I hope they can improve the quality of their food. Vegan food stalls like them is a life saver for us hungry vegans who want to have a quick meal 😅 Hoping for more vegan food carts inside the malls!

Pros: Affordable, Generous serving, Ideal for quick meal

Cons: Quality of their food needs improvement

Food stall

It's simple and vegan. Served hot and they have a list of ingredients per item.

Their chili cheese potato fries is my fave. Yummy and cheesy. Best with the falafel salad.

Didn't live up to reviews.

Not what the pictures posted here look like. Quite disappointed in the food. Very oily chips and the chorizo wrap had a lot of ingredients missing. falafel burger was the only thing that tasted good. Served with a smile to be fair. Hope they improve there services because it could be a gem in a city where vegan food is scarce enough. Also the cheap price matches the tiny portions.

Pros: Cheapish, good falafel burger, smile with service.

Cons: Small portion, oil, missing ingredients, plastic, , No seasoning on chips.

A casual place to meet with friends!

It was nice to be able to bring my three friends (2 meat eaters & 1 vegetarian) to a local eatery place where they could choose their meals but be able to sample my vegan option. Although you could probably classify this as fast food, the rice bowl I chose tasted good, looked healthy and was just the right serving portion to feel satisfied. I would absolutely go here again the next time I am in the area.

Pros: Combo meals are available, cheap.

Cons: Plastic cutlery is given.

🍟🌯🌮🍔🍠Fast-food VEGAN only

I like sweet potato very much. French fries sweet potato is yummy😌. I didn't try everything, but definitely will come back here. The food here is "junk food" , but healthy type 😂. You can find a restroom here as well. Not crowded and light music create a good atmosphere. But you have to be ready to eat with people, who ordered some braised chicken, pork char siu or akita-yaki. This is a food court, so, all folk eat together in one hall. (For me it was good enough size of the fries portion)

Pros: No eggs, no dairy, truly vegan kitchen.

Cons: No vegetarian food😆😜 Just joking.

fast food vegan lunch

Great spot for vegan fast food inside the Pantree food court. Has burgers, wraps, bowls, salads and fries. top choice for a side is the sweet potato chili cheese fries. the size of the wraps are quite small, actually in tortillas comparable in size with street tacos rather than wraps or burritos. definitely can't just have a wrap alone for a full meal. note: plastic utensils are provided, so please let the staff know you will be using the utentils you brought. (because you did bring your own.... right?)

Pros: satisfying junk /fast food.

Cons: plastic utensils, wraps are small
