Worst Cake Ever - Edit
Being the only wholly vegan bakery in town does not give one carte blanche to be arrogant and turn out mediocre food at best. We patronized this bakery for over two years and were thrilled when it opened. Most of their items were mediocre at best( cookies, cruffins, cupcakes) but they had a couple of shining stars. One was their sourdough Rosemary bread and the other was their cheesecake - so what did they do? They started putting way too much salt in their sourdough Rosemary bread and were very arrogant and unresponsive when I said to them that there was much more salt in the bread than in the past. I was met with ,"well some people think there wasn't enough salt". Salt has been shown to kill people prematurely no matter the dietary preferences, and besides it made the bread taste horrible. Secondly she started making a delicious cheesecake, a rarity in the vegan world, and we bought some every time we visited. Then they halfed the size of the cheesecake and charged the same amount. The final straw for us was when we purchased an Italian cream cake for my birthday and we had to throw away about 80% of it because it was the worst cake we've ever had. It was dry and essentially burnt and horribly flavored. We haven't been back since because the bakery is unfortunately not good in our opinion. We put up with a lot of mediocrity because they were the only vegan bakery in town ,but in our opinion, they don't seem to care about the quality of the items that they produce.

I have no evidence that you've attempted to contact me. When I did offer constructive suggestions, I was met by condescension and aloofness. I'm not trying to harm your business- I'm merely speaking my truth about my experiences at your bakery. I absolutely do not want any decent vegan businesses to do poorly, but I do want a good product for which I have paid hard- earned money.

Wonderful baked goods - Edit
What a wonderful find. We stopped for lunch while visiting Fort Worth, where my wife was born, and were happily surprised by this delightful restaurant. The couple who own this place were as delightful as the food. We had vegan muffins stuffed with vegan options. We also selected some desserts like carrot cake, fudge, pumpkin chocolate chip cookie and oatmeal raisin cookie. We ate in the restaurant, which was quiet and pleasant. As this restaurant was within 1 mile of Justina's old-home, we will return when we visit Fort Worth again.

We love sitting at Planted with a cup of coffee and pastries. Cinnamon Rolls are huge and decadent, and we haven’t had a savory we didn’t like. Owners are super nice, too.

Fantastic all vegan bakery with homemade breads that are out of this world. I got the choc croissant (divine), sausage roll (fluffy bread heaven, only wish there was more filling), sandwich cookie (yum!), and sourdough bread (excellent). So happy to have found this place! Everything was super reasonably priced too

I went here around the fourth of july and i was BLOWN AWAY by their quality goods. the customer service was incredible , i cannot describe how authentic everything felt and how nice everyone was within the bakery. they have very nice items, as i got the cookie cake and a few items in the rack.

Atmosphere was great and super friendly employees. I give 4 stars because everything was a little too bready for me, like filling to bread ratio. I tried the bacon, egg, and cheese roll, chocolate croissant, and cherry baked item. So just personal preference. My daughter got the cookie and she loved it. I will definitely try again because you can’t beat having an all vegan bakery around!

planted bakery is adorable! they had many things to choose from. i tried multiple things and every one of them was awesome. the jalapeño sausage rolls were my absolute favorite. the strawberry cream cheese danish was also very good. i also tried the bacon egg and cheese roll, a tres leches cupcake, cinnamon roll cruffin with nuts and raisins, and chickpea salad and i would recommend all of these. my non-vegan friend enjoyed everything as well.

When I first walked in a couldn’t believe this was a vegan bakery!!!! So many options and all looked amazing! I settled for a pepperoni roll, pumpkin chocolate chip cookie, and a cherry cruffin. The bread on the pepperoni roll was light and airy so delicious!

Legit vegan baked goods - Edit
This place makes legit (tastes very similar to the traditional, non-vegan version) baked goods. Their peperoni rolls w/marinara sauce were the best I've ever had. Phylly cheeze steak "pot pie" type of pastry was very tasty, too. Cinnamon cruffins (hybrid of croissant + muffin) were delicious-even when eaten at home 2 days after they were baked.

To Bake More Like Them - Edit
Baking is a science, while cooking is an art form as one of my co-workers said. Maybe I am just better at science. That being established, the sheer and excellent variety of baked goods at this bakery make me want to improve upon my baking skills all the more. First, I might start try to improve upon the chocolate chips cookies that I make to be more on par with this location.
