Good food, nice atmosphere. - Edit
The food was great; however, they were out of stock of all the sushi when we arrived which was a bummer. The “beef” with broccoli and Singapore noodles were fantastic. The 1000 layer potato’s were also very delicious, and they add a curious “caviar” that goes perfectly with them. The service wasn’t so great for us.
Read moreThe bad: The food didn’t arrive all at once so we had to wait between entrees. The air conditioning was too high and my husband had to get my sweater because it was an icebox.
Pros: Tasty appetizers , Large entree sizes, Unique dishes
Cons: Air conditioning too high, Service was so-so, Food didn’t arrive all at once.

A fantastic spot - Edit
My first time here and I brought my carnivore son. He was skeptical but we were celebrating Mother’s Day so he didn’t complain. We both loved our food. And he said he would come back again. We started with some yummy mocktails and the potato skin appetizer. It was amazing!
Read moreI had the Thai lettuce wraps and we shared the brownie for dessert. With not many vegan restaurants nearby,, It was just so wonderful to be able to choose anything on the menu. Service was great too. I can’t wait to return.

On a major pedestrian road with thousands of people crowding restaurants, THIS is the move. Very private & secluded from the hustle of the main road, this place has everything.
Read moreIt is a little pricey but the food you get is great! Our servers were so attentive and kind, they were the best. Our guacamole dip was phenomenal, the truffle fried rice was a very good option too, and the dragon roll was tasty but not as filling as I hoped. For $15 maki rolls, I’d go all-in and get the Volcano roll. We got the matcha cheesecake that I will spend the rest of my life fantasizing about that dessert.
Pros: SO Tasty, Very kind staff, Gorgeous interior
Cons: Pricey but expected foe area

Spectacularly delicious - Edit
Food so good it's an experience. We had sushi- the watermelon tuna amazing-- but eggplant eel straight up blew my mind. Lettuce wraps ok, but general tsos cauliflower incredible. Wasn't able to try the tartar, but i guess that leaves something to go back for. Carrot cake was also great and massive slice. Left feeling very full and satisfied.

The other Plantas are fresh. We ordered sushi which was cold like it had been refrigerated. For the price the items should be fresh.

Great ambience - Edit
All the staff we interacted with were very helpful, joyful, and really cared about helping us have a good experience. The spicy tuna roll is a must (not very spicy).
Read moreThe Al Pastor bowl and Reuben sandwich were both good. The happy hour smash burger was great (I’d rank it between the spicy tuna roll and the other 2 dishes I mentioned) they have happy hour Mon-Fri 4pm-6pm, and also Sun-Fri 8:30PM to close. The happy hour menu has a lot of great deals.
Pros: Spicy Tuna Roll, Friendly staff and vibe, Happy hour deals
Cons: Is on the expensive side

Every dish we tried was great. My udon noodles and the potatoe small plate were probably my favorite. We got the matcha cheesecake to go. Where else can you get vegan matcha cheesecake? Can’t wait to come back.

Planta - Edit
It’s definitely a good place for the first few times after a while. It does get a little old but there’s not a lot of vegan upscale restaurants here so this is only upscale option in Fort Lauderdale. I usually get the sushi sometimes the udon noodles, which is pretty good but a little expensive I suggest looking at their specials if you’re looking for a decent deal .

Not great - Edit
I was very excited and had high hopes for this one and I hate to give average reviews to plant-based restaurants, but in this case I can't give more than 3 stars.
Read moreThe restaurant is well located, is spacious and beautiful. That increased our expectations.
We ordered the Kimchi "egg" rice and a Noodle, and for our baby plain rice and tofu. All the rices were dry. The Kimchi egg rice looked more like an inverted bowl, and had very little Kimchi flavor. The Noodle was fine, but nothing special.
For dessert we ordered a Brownie that looked more like a chocolate cake, and a sundae waffle that was good but again nothing too special. The highlights were the ambience and the mocktail.
Pros: Ambience, Service, Fully plant-based
Cons: Food, Serving - one of the plates came 5 minutes before

Such a treat! - Edit
My visit to Planta Queen on Las Olas had me feeling delighted, sated, and spoiled. The restaurant itself was clean, attractive, and inviting. We had the Plant Power lunch special; $28 for a starter, signature dish, and cookie. We had the dragon roll and 1,000 layer crispy potatoes to start; both were Instagram-worthy feasts for the eyes and palate. For the mains we ordered the truffle fried rice and a sushi burrito. I highly recommend the truffle fried rice. The chocolate chip cookies were enormous. They were about three times the size of a normal cookie. All this and kind, attentive service.

Planta Queen is AMAZING! - Edit
Planta Queen on Las Olas is absolutely amazing. We ordered takeout (because it was Easter Sunday, and restaurants are packed!). We ordered seven different dishes, and we were blown away by each and every one. This fully vegan restaurant offers mainly Asian food that is fresh, beyond flavorful and totally different from your local Asian restaurant. They offer whole food items, no processed food, very fresh and unlike anything you've ever tasted before. Yes, they are expensive. And worth every penny. My taste buds had a real blast!! SO GOOD!!! It is a small chain with about 20 locations - many of them in Florida, but we're so glad there's a location near us!!! Try something truly different and so delicious for a change!!

Great! - Edit
Planta Queen did not disappoint. The food was fantastic! We had the crispy tofu with peanut sauce appetizer, udon noodles, general D's cauliflower, and the bubble waffle sundae. My favorite was the udon noodles: The creamy truffle sauce and mushrooms just made it spectacular. I'm really glad I finally got to try this place.
