Very good - Edit
All the food is vegan and all the products they sell are vegan too. They are no longer a restaurant but a Shop with pre made food like quiche and empanadas that they will heat for you. A very good experience. // Toda la comida es vegana al igual que todos los productos que venden. Ya no son un restaurant sino un "Café al paso" donde tienen comida pre hecha que calientan al momento para servir. Una muy buena experiencia 😊

Awesome! - Edit
One of my favorite vegan spots in Santiago. Great location, great staff, amazing food! What else could you want? They have a daily set menu with an entree, main course, juice and coffee or tea. Everyday is different, delicious and nutricious. They care for that and for presentation. They have a menu with smoothies, juices, sandwiches, salads, and a lot of other mouth-watering choices. The shop caters for all your vegan needs.
The ahuacatl salad, and their lemon pie ar to die for.
I love Planta Maestra.
Pros: Great food, lots o choices. , Genuinely friendly staff., Care for nutrition.

Excellent - Edit
First: Forget the old reviews; Everything is vegan now and the food tastes great.
We had a menu of the day with juice and coffee/tea, a starter (raw vegan ceviche) and main dish (pasta with very special tomato sauce). Additionally we got some dessert (tiramisu and a peruvian dish) and two large Sandwiches to take home and left happy. Everything tasted excellent!
The staff was very friendly, the toilets clean and they also have a nice shop. You can sit outside if the weather is fine in a relatively quiet spot considering this is in the middle of Santiago.
Pros: All Vegan, Excellent Taste, Inexpensive
Cons: Not many warm main course options

Has improved a lot - Edit
In the last six months they updated the menu and have some new options, even raw ones that taste great. I think they are also bolder now with the spices and the dishes have a lot more flavour. I also like the tiramisu and the smoothies.
The daily menu is a little expensive but the portions are big.
I only wish they wouldn't light up incenses indoors where people are eating, for me it really interferes with the food since my sense of smell gets confused.
Pros: nice vibe, big portions, big variety
Cons: lacks sweet options, incense indoors

Not Vegan - Edit
They sell honey, not sure if it is included in preparations.
Portions are small, but prices are fair for the portion sizes.
Nice to sit outside when weather is good.
Pros: Fresh food
Cons: Terrible brownie, Preparations are too simple

warning with honey - Edit
this place is beautiful, there is a small grocery store as well, and a small corner with some books for sale, everything was tasty and very fresh, some good organic products as well, the only issue is they have some honey and bee products such as bee pollen. Otherwise all is good.
Pros: tasty, price, books
Cons: honey, location, order
