I've been wanting to go to this all vegan cafe for a while. This is their chickpea masala bowl. It comes with baby spinach, quinoa, chickpea masala, (2) baked falafel, & sunflower seed dressing on the side. The owners & staff are super friendly & knowledgable on the menu

Read moreI had the Mash Up wrap and a bite of the Big Kahuna and both were delicious! I ordered the Mash Up in a bowl and received it in a wrap which could’ve been a complaint if it wasn’t so good. My favorite part of my visit were the Tomato Chickpeas. They were creamy, coconutty, and savory. That dish alone is more than enough reason for a return trip to Plant Wise

We've been meaning to check this place out for a long time since there aren't many vegan only restaurants around us (and really, this is not around us). It's a bit of a drive but it was so worth it. Not only is it great that you can just get anything on the menu, stress-free (in this part of NY, rare), but as far as I can tell it's all whole foods plant based and raw. There's no compromise on flavor either.
Read moreThe salads here are great. I'd recommend the kale caesar with the chickpea salad on top. It's very tasty and perfectly balanced. Their wraps are great too if you want something warm and I suppose not totally raw.
One thing I'll mention is that the Mac and cheeze they serve one day a week was very delicious to me, but my partner found it to taste too vegetal. So your mileage may vary but I think it's worth a try.
The place was so great, we bought a ton of merch and ended up going back a couple more times in a short period which is not typical for us especially considering the distance we have to travel for it.
Highly recommended. If we lived closer I'd be a regular most likely. 💸

Simply my favorite place to eat on the island. The hot meals are unbelievably good, as are the desserts. I’m also not a salad guy but when I get one here I’m always pleased. (I’ll note that the wraps are kind of hit-or-miss, frankly, but nobody’s perfect.) The chickpea masala dish in particular is something I happily can (and often do) eat multiple times a week. It’s not too expensive ($10 for a hefty portion that can work as lunch or dinner), the service is friendly and quick, and everything I get regularly is delicious.
Read moreYou can eat there, but I usually take out. They did expand their internal space recently for more internal tables. The two outdoor tables are nice in spring/fall, too.
They also sell some basic other things like protein powder.

I ate at Plant Wise for the first time yesterday. The first thing is that I love walking into a place where you can only get vegan food. Such a good feeling, and precious few of these restaurants in Nassau County. The room was on the small side but very clean and pleasant. The servers were extremely helpful and nice. I chose the Big Kahuna wrap, which was mostly house made vegan tuna salad made of chick peas. It was tasty. Not the most delicious "tuna" salad I've ever eaten but pretty good and filling. And I thought the dried cranberries completed the salad and kale beautifully. I tried a brownie for dessert. Fresh, with a "cake-y" texture, but I wasn't crazy about the overwhelming taste of coconut. Somehow this didn't prevent me from finishing it though! Lol

My visit to Plant Wise was THE worst restaurant experience I've ever had. My kid was hankering for veggie chili; I came across this place via Happy Cow. Called in 3 orders with chili. Said I'd be leaving work, would be there in 20 mins. While waiting for the people in front of me to finish their order I hear the taker tell them they are all out of chili. "Good thing I called in my order ahead of time" I think. I give them the order number, the counter person says "sorry, there's a problem, we're all out of chili". REALLY? Their lack of experience in the food service industry starts to show. I explain that when I called in & ordered 3 chili items _no one said *anything*_ about being out of chili. {STRIKE 1} They tell me they tried to call me. Said I was leaving from my office right after the call so if you're relying on caller ID that's a problem; you should have asked for an alternate number. {STRIKE 2} I'm steaming but the guy says choose from items that he reads off. Fine, I'll call my family & come right back. I couldn't have been more than 3 mins; my wife and kid decide to try the chikpeas in tomato sauce. Go back in and have to stand on a longer line AGAIN instead of taking me aside to get my alternative pick. {STRIKE 3} Now I'm steaming like I'm having one of my wife's hot flashes & finally get up to the counter and tell the guy that we'll have the chikpeas in tomato sauce and he says "we're all out of that." WHAT?! In 2 minutes? Why did you offer it to me as an alternative? {STRIKE 4}. He tells me "you can have one of these other items." What, that you'll be out of by the time I ask my family again? {STRIKE 5} I go out to my car AGAIN & call. I'm so ticked off at this point I tell them let's forget about it. They agree - "what, we're gonna pick something else they'll be out of?" - and suggest I talk to the manager to see if they will make this right. I go back & ask the guy if he's the manager. He mentions something about being a shift manager & that a woman there is the manager so I say they've screwed this whole thing up so royally what can they do for me, & he says "you can pick from what's left." Are you freakin' kidding me?! {STRIKE SIX} Now, this is mash-up Monday with a BOGO deal. I explain to make it right they should offer a discount on a future order. He looks at me like a deer in the headlights. {STRIKE SEVEN} These people have zero food service know-how & pretty close to zero retail experience. DON'T ORDER FROM OR EAT AT PLANT WISE!

I love this place so much. I can be home in Queens and tell my wife I’m going to go make a Wise Run which means I’m going to drive the 45 minutes to get food here. When you come in the store the staff makes you feel like an old friend visiting. They have patience. They don’t mind explaining what is in each meal you order and they will help you decide if you are indecisive. The food is so delicious with tons of flavor. I’m excited about the Plant Wise Market opening in August because vegans need a place to go grocery shopping. It will take the stress out of wondering if a product you buy is vegan or not because the plant wise market is completely vegan. Only vegans will understand.

Traveling from Jersey to Long Island, I pulled over to see what I could find. And there it was! A little vegan spot with gluten free options as well. Had a "tuna" wrap, fresh juice, (and brownies to take back to the hotel for later). Everything was fresh and yummy. The seating area was small but cute. There was a table outside if you wanted to brave the summer heat. Highly recommend this place!

I am a super fortunate and travel for a living which allows me to try some of the best plant based foods available! This place will blow you away. The positive energy in this establishment is radiant and you literally feel like you’re on vacation. Everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious beyond words and I am super excited to try the rest of their diverse menu. The Masala bowl is amazing! Their juices and smoothies are off the charts!
