Excellent!! Worth the drive from West Palm! - Edit
I tried the jackfruit nachos and portobello burger and it was so delicious. I talk to the manager and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and her passion was inspiring!

the service was horrible - Edit
I went to this place two times. Because is close to my hostel. I tried the bbq burger and the jackfruit burger they where nice but both of them came out cold. I'm not sure if the burgers actually are meant to be cold mabey. But the service is terrible. You kind of have to haunt the waitresses down to be able to order food. Then the don't bring you cutlery and the second time they never even askt me if I wanted anything to drink.

Awful! - Edit
Nasty greasy artichoke burger, jackfruit burger was cold. Sent it back and the owner care out to tell me the burger was not cold! When we cancelled the order, she tried to charge us the full amount. Never again.

not so fresh - Edit
I ordered only a smoothie which was just a watered down juice. The vegetables and fruit looked stale. Probably won’t be coming back.

Not sure exactly what you're talking about. We don't use any ice in any smoothies so definitely not a juice. How can fruit or veggies look "Stale" if they are blended into a smoothie. We use 100% organic frozen fruit only. Please let establishments know if you are not satisfied, we are always happy to serve, remake and correct any issues and that is our goal for you to be happy but instead you post an inaccurate review to hurt local eco conscious businesses. I invite to connect with us so we can give you what you desire. Have a blessed and grateful day! Plant Theory Team

I wanted SO BADLY to like it - Edit
The menu looked SO GOOD but the nachos, beet burger, and artichoke sandwich were VERY less than fresh and super greasy. I get so excited to go to fully vegan places but this was a MASSIVE let down. Also, not the cleanest. We paid ASAP and went to get smoothies somewhere else. Sorry!!!

not anymore the same - Edit
I used to go to this simple but very good place for vegan food, run by young guys. This year visiting again Miami Beach I discover that Plant Theory has moved inside an Hotel in Miami Beach , there are just few tables outside and nothing more of the interesting shop, space and menu I used to enjoy. What remains are few burgers served on a carton with a choice of a little salad or chips.
Read moreThe experience was disappointing: the table where I seat was not clean I had to ask the waiter to clean it and she did it but in a sloppy way, making me doubt about the way the kitchen is run. The burger sandwich itself was good but half the size it was. Overall a disappointing experience I do not want to do again.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed instead of grateful at what we provided in the change of space, a creative vegan organic cafe in the heart of South beach. In truth we downsized as the owner was asking for $8000 a month and it just didn't make sense to be working to live. Plant theory is located in a hotel, we have an entire hotel patio, a courtyard, a bar and lounge seating inside so plenty of places to get comfortable.

Good food, non sustainable practices - Edit
Lovely setting in South Beach. Was disappointed to go to an eco conscious establishment to be served my fresh pressed juice in a plastic cup! They apparently do not have proper glassware. I asked! And the ramekin for the dressing was also plastic. The Phyllis Cheesesteak was quite nice. On their website it says they “strive to use eco and sustainable products.” Of course, plastic isn’t eco friendly or sustainable. Would love to see management address this issue. The food I had was good and it would be great to see Plant Theory following their own principles. Thank you!

nice option in south beach!! - Edit
This was a really nice option to have in south beach. Show this place some love so it sticks around. Service was a little bit slow but it seemed like just one staff member. Either way was worth it and glad to have this option.

Great vegan lunch spot.
Read moreWe had a nice lunch at this quirky vegan spot.
It is in a leafy alley off a busy main road serving breakfast and lunch. Food was great.
There looked to be lots of both healthy options plus fast food indulgence. Which was very nice.
And the cheesecake was excellent
Service was unusual but friendly.
Pros: vegan, friendly, lots of choice
Cons: if you're fussy about service you may not like

Yummy! - Edit
Managed to drag my non-vegan and resentful aunt here and I had a great experience!
Read moreThere are a lot of delicious-sounding dishes on the menu but eventually I decided on the jackfruit burger. So happy I did because it was amazing! The fresh red cabbage coleslaw on top was so good as well and the gluten free millet bun was one of the best vegan gluten free breads I've had!
I will say that the bottom of my bun was soggy and it was a bit hard to eat (and messy!) but I didn't mind too much as every bite was delicious!
My aunt ordered the baked artichoke buffalo sandwich and seemed to like it but not love it. I think it could have been a bit more flavorful.
Will have to go back to try their desserts as we didn't get to them this time around. Overall a wonderful outdoor lunch spot in a little open space beside the hotel! Definitely recommend!
Pros: entirely vegan and gluten free, delicious burger, bun and coleslaw, relaxing atmosphere tucked away from the street
Cons: soggy burger bun, artichoke buffalo sandwich was not interesting eno

Great food, weird atmosphere - Edit
I came here twice, for breakfast and lunch with friends. Awesome food! Everything we tasted was absolutely yummy. Good options for both "fast-food" vegan food and healthy, raw food. The only weird thing is the atmosphere: both times I was there we were the only table, which I think is kind of weird. The restaurant is attached to the hotel and it only has outside sitting and it is next to a pretty busy road. Some hotel guests use the restaurant area for just relaxing for a smoke and hang out. I don't know how they make money if no one except me is eating there. I wish them all the best since I support all vegan restaurants, but I worry if they last.

Good food but pricey for what you get - Edit
You order your food at the desk and you pay it right away. Then you get your food on a small paper plate with plastic fork and knife with a little bit of extra salad on the plate. I had the jackfruit burger and it was amazing. But 15 $ for a burger served like this? Unfortunately the restroom wasn't clean (something red on the toilet seat) although there where 3 people standing around in the kitchen and no customers.

Good - Edit
Good atmosphere. Affordable prices. I got the "missing egg melt with coconut bacun" which was good. I thought it was a little on the dry side though and could have benefited from some sort of sauce like a "hollandaise" or something.
