First off let me say I absolutely hate disparaging an all vegan restaurant, but I also pride myself on honest reviews. I don’t get how this is a top rated restaurant on Happy Cow. I’ve gone a few times because I believe in giving places a couple chances but it just doesn’t do it for me. I’m not really a fan of their patties so I’ve tried the chicken instead of the burger…it was better but not by much. The cookies and cream milkshake was really good but last time I was there they were out of the cookies so I got a cookie butter shake instead and it was just ok. Yeah I dunno…it’s just not that good to me. 😕

We are regulars at Plant Power. Comfort food that my sensory sensitive son actually likes. I have ordered different burgers before, even one with waffles as a bun, but today I tried a Munch Wrap. My son favors the Chicken Sandwich. We also love the cookies, cheesecake and shakes.

The loaded fries are heavy but quite good.

This place is a great alternative since Burger Patch closed. They have a good sized menu, and I enjoyed everything I tried (particularly the animal style fries). Don’t expect healthy, just expect satisfying comfort food.

I love the breakfast in particular and the chicken sandwiches and western burger are so dang amazing! Literally everything I've had is amazing. And the blueberry soda is SO incredible. I don't live in town but I try to go every time I'm in Sac. It's not usually so busy you can't get a table and they have a great outdoor seating area!

I love that this fast foot chain makes plant-based versions of all the typical fast food chains. Everything is delicious. With the range of customizations including types of patties, you can make your meal as unique as you are. I personally love their Jr Cheeseburger. It’s reminiscent of McDonald’s cheeseburgers without the suffering. I love ordering through the app. It’s always ready by the time I arrive.

Read moreService is consistently lacking, food isn’t anything to rave about, atmosphere is too industrial, and it’s pretty pricey. It seems the two core reasons to come here instead of Burger Patch is their milkshakes and their chicken sandwich.

I had the fries, simple jr burger, and a cookies and cream snowday and they were all super good! The burger reminded me of mcdonalds burgers with the chopped onions, and the fries were like innout x mcdonalds fries. The snowday is like a blizzard/mcflurry and i split that with my boyfriend because it was pretty dense!

My most recent visit to Plant Power was a pleasant one as I primarily enjoyed the interior design and signage upon first sight. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken combo meal with iconic fries and it was delicious. The sandwich could have used more nashville sause but otherwise it was still tasty. The iconic fries were superb and probably the better menu item I have had on my 2 visits to Plant Power.

Everything is vegan. The chicken sandwiches are better than the burgers. The iconic fries are always good. There's a good variety on the menu.
Read moreI've been here many times and honestly every single time, the service is very bad. We have had times when we have waited nearly an hour for food. We have also had staff members ignore us and other customers who were waiting to pick up mobile orders. Mind you, the mobile orders were done. I could see mine behind the counter and no staff member make eye contact with us or help anyone else waiting. I worked in the service industry for years and understand being busy or understaffed, but their service is honestly atrocious.
For a place that has "fast food" in the name, you will easily wait 20-30 mins if not more for a sandwich and fries. I would not go out of my way to stop here. The wait times and service are not worth it. #Veganuary

We usually get the southwest avocado wrap and it is delicious there was a few times going that we had bad service.

An employee was rude on the phone or in person, the food wasn’t consistent.
I had the “chicken” sandwich meal and I enjoyed it.
Fries are good I enjoyed the sweet potato fries more.
The shakes are amazing and delicious I recommend them!
Last time I went the staff was friendly and I didn’t see the guy anymore, we took a break after that employee was rude. #Veganuary

Honestly everything I’ve tried here has been great, super indulgent and fulfilling for every craving, but the milkshakes are next level for me. Read morethey've also recently upgraded their plantbased meat alternative and it's made their food way better. I wasn't a fan of the old alpha patties they had. and then the ones before that I felt were too crumbly.
the patties need just a little more to go. it tastes kinda beyond like and still good.
the breakfast is the best hands down
