Great vegan food on a budget - Edit
So we've been twice while in the area, and are planning a third trip on our way out just to get the bruschetta. Everything we've had is packed with flavor (emphasis on the bruschetta again, it was amazingly flavorful). They make basically everything in house, which is great. They have a wide variety menu with daily specials and sides. Can't go wrong with anything they have. Really good desserts too!

This is a very laid back atmosphere. The food is like home cooking very tasty and hearty and filling. Me and my family really enjoyed the food and will be back when we visit Chattanooga again.

Finally got a chance to try out this vegan restaurant. So many options to choose from! I got the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Quite yummy and very generous serving...loaded with toppings.

What a great little place!!! I was just in town for work and found this place on the Happy Cow app, and I'm so happy I did! I got the bbq jackfruit sandwich, which came with a side salad, and the fire roasted veggie soup, which was all super awesome! I wish I lived closer!

Wonderful Waffles on Saturday - Edit
My wife and I loved this restaurant and enjoyed their whole-foods plant-based waffles on a Saturday morning. They were incredibly delicious. These waffles seem to only be served on Saturdays though.

Frozen dessert - Edit
I clearly missed out on all the good other reviewers have experienced. I stopped by on the way to the airport for dessert. The slice of mango cheesecake I received was frozen solid (I had to stab it several times w/a metal fork to break off a piece) and even the mango pieces on the side were frosted-over frozen. (The girl that brought it out said most people get their desserts to go...so sorry to be that weird person who eats dessert right then and there.) I got up to ask for a to-go box, but as none of the workers (all children that day that I encountered, literally) were around, I went over and grabbed my own from a service area. Many tables were covered in dirty plates/garbage.

I am the owner, of Plant Power Cafe & Juice Bar. Our raw items like the raw cheese cakes are a specialty item and they do come frozen but it does not take long to quickly thaw out. We always make sure we tell each customer how it is served. Most do take their cheesecake home and let it thaw and eat it later but some enjoy eating it as a frozen dessert!? Either way, eating the cheesecake at the cafe or taking it home-- you would still have to let it thaw just for a little... we have never had a complaint about it.
Read moreWe are not a full service restaurant so yes, to-go- boxes are out on the counter for our customers convenience and as a small family owned restaurant, we might not always be in the front of the cafe, we might just be in back prepping for the next day! Our regular customers appreciate our thoughtfulness of making sure the to-go-boxes are at their reach.
As far as the tables covered in dirty plates and garbage-- again we are not full service restaurant ---therefore customers are suppose to clean off their tables and kindly place their dishes on top of the grabage can where trays are set there for that purpose but I can guarantee you that our tables are cleaned regularly and sanitized in a timely manner each day.

This is definitely a great place if your looking for that good comfort food, burgers, Mac and cheese, tacos, nachos. They have a variety of smoothies as well! All in all, awesome place to check out!

I work near this place, I go about three times a week for lunch, no kidding, it's that good! The blackbean burger is the best I have ever had...anywhere. The bbq jackfruit hits all the right notes. They have great smoothies and deserts too. Oh, and their nachos...delicious!

I'm a newbie vegan who has been severly let down be vegan meat imitations until now. The BBQ Jack Fruit is delicious and has the flavor, texture and taste of legit real BBQ. The slaw was wayyy to spicy for my taste, but I'm a sissy about spicy food. It still had great flavor and texture.. nice and crunchy. The staff was very friendly. It was clean and looked like a tidy cafe inside. Smells good walking in.

It was a mom-and-pop establishment with lots of soy-inclusive items on their menu. I ordered a raw dish because it was one of the only soy-free items. It was pretty good, and I had a raw carrot cake for dessert that was out of this world. Desserts are on point! The cafe itself is a little odd, half of the place is not usable for customers because there's stuff everywhere. They also had religious talk radio blasting the entire time which made me uncomfortable. Decor was a bit odd, too, as they had mylar balloons weighted to every table. The food was pretty good, though.

There's no way around it, the food was amazing! My mom and brother even enjoyed the food and they are not vegan or vegetarian. The place has a humble beginning but definitely has the potential to be much bigger. More people need to know about this place and try it!

The last time we came to Chattanooga we ate at Sluggo's and it was awesome! This place is just as good! I had the jack fruit BBQ sandwich and it was unreal how good it was! My wife had the Hummus wrap and it was amazing too! If you are coming through chattanooga then you need stop here for sure!
