Rare vegan place in Kawaguchiko - Edit
Neat and clean place, just a short walk from Kawaguchiko station. Upstairs is like a Cafe and bar, restaurant downstairs. They seem like a burger specialist, so we also ordered burgers. Not disappointed. Quite tasty, less oil. The patties were all similar, the difference is in the flavour. I would like to see them use more vegetables in the burger.

We absolutely loved our meal at Vegan Nation! Everything we ordered was packed with flavour, and we were spoiled for choice with such a big menu. There was a great mix of Japanese and Western dishes, plus set menu options if you couldn't decide.

The staff were genuinely warm and friendly, and the restaurant was lovely and clean. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back. If you're visiting the Fuji area and looking for amazing vegan food, we'd definitely recommend giving Vegan Nation a try! 🌱💚

The “chicken” was pretty tasteless, the burger was undercooked and the bun wasn’t toasted, the cheese was okay but kind of strange
The place itself felt more like a school dining hall than a cafe, it had no personality at all
I’d say give this place a try, maybe I caught them on a bad day, but it is also a bit over priced for what you get

We had the cheeseburger, teriyaki burger, curry, and a couple of beers. It was all very good and the service was great! It was so nice to be able to go to a restaurant that I knew was 100% vegan. We also picked up some of the to go ramen they had up front to heat up at our hotel later. Would recommend!!

Delicious vegan restaurant right in the center of Fujikawaguchiko, very close to the famous Lawson spot and both the bus and train stations. Everything we tried was amazing — I especially loved the vegan cheeseburger! Over the next few days we’ll definitely come back to try many other dishes as well. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Wir waren total zufrieden. Gerade da es in dieser gegend leider nicht allzu viele vegane restaurants gibt, waren wir richtig glücklich, dieses lokal gefunden zu haben. Mein freund hatte die ramen und pan fried gyozas und war sehr zufrieden. Ich hatte den burger und die chicken-karage. Vorallem das burgerpatty ist mir in erinnerung geblieben.

The restaurant just opened last month and it is the only vegan restaurant in this area. The cheese burger is the best! One of the best plant cheese I ever had. The portions could be a bit bigger for the price. But if you also order a side dish it is enough. The Japanese pancake was okay but too small for a main dish. The dessert is tasty but also a bit small. The ramen is also delicious! We went here each day on our stay in Kawaguchiko.

Poor service, pricey small portions, yummy burger and 100% vegan 🌱 - Edit
Unfortunately, we had a poor experience. All food arrived except for one burger. After waiting 5–10 minutes, a passing waitress assured us it was on its way, but 10–15 minutes later it still hadn’t appeared. By the time everyone else had finished, we asked the chef, who had no record of the Katsu burger due to a mix-up. As we were rushing to see Mount Fuji, this was a real shame — especially given the small portions and high prices. The burger was tasty when it finally arrived, and the lotus fries were ok. In a situation like this, a gesture such as complimentary fries or a discount would have been expected, but nothing was offered. There is clearly room for improvement.
