Awesome plant based menu - Edit
A little tricky to find at first. On West 52nd Street, in between 6th and 7th Avenue, there's a building with a lit up sign saying URBANSPACE inside, if you go in through the revolving doors of the entrance, Plant Junkie's over to the right near the end. Even though it was on a Saturday evening, the atmosphere still felt quite chill in there.
Read moreOnce I saw the menu, I lit up because there's so much lush stuff to choose from, and it's very good value for money too.
The lady who served me was very helpful and talked me through some of the menu.
I reiterate here what I said about Le Botaniste, Vegan On The Fly, and 16 Handles, if I'm ever in Manhattan again, I'll be coming here for food. Highly recommend it!
Pros: Amazing foods, ALL vegan =), Nice staff, Good value for money
Cons: Bit tricky to find at first..., To resolve that, there could be signs...

So Good - Edit
I was in town for a few days and this place was near my hotel so I decided to check it out. It was so good that I went back again the next night and ordered the same thing. So many flavors, and they don't skimp on the portions. Great bang for your buck. Highly recommend!

Good for a counter service place - Edit
This place is just a counter in a food hall, and I guess most of the offering is cooked off-site. That said, I saw my tofu go in the fryer, so there’s some prep more than just the assembly in a bowl. All that to say, expectations were not particularly high. But
Read moreI had the Bangkok curry bowl, and it had some nice elements. The tofu had a decent crust on it, and the slaw with coconut was delicious. There was a kale salad that could maybe have used a bit more work to remove the chewy spines, and a spaghetti-based dish that I couldn’t really figure out, but they weren’t bad. The fried lotus root isn’t nearly as impressive as the professional photos on here, but nevertheless provided a nice crunch. I had the cookie, as well, which I kind of loved. It was described as being made with banana flour, but I think it must have had some wheat, as well. Anyway, the chocolate chunks were generous, and it felt like a decent deal for the price. Don’t go for ambience, but if you’re in a hurry for the theatre or something, it’s a good option.

Okay-ish location for quick lunch - Edit
Market is quite nice and good location for a lunch break when visiting city centre. Had a bowl and cookie - both was quite bland (& the bowl way too cold for my liking). Wouldn't visit again

bang for your buck - Edit
excellent bang for your buck in terms of size of portions. the food is just fine, nothing extraordinary: the curry (Sri Lankan) was a bit bland, the boy swag sandwich was a bit more interesting.

Good, filling food - Edit
Service was quick and there is a nice variety. The price is not cheap ($15-$20) but for the quality and amount of food with the location I think it is more than fair

Delicious & Fresh Caesar Salad - Edit
I ordered a NY "Chicken” Caesar salad. It contained Romaine lettuce and kale, sliced crispy "chicken", avocado, nutritional yeast, croutons, and vegan Caesar dressing. It was very fresh, tasty, and filling! If you’re a picky eater or are in the mood for something simple I highly recommend it😄

Great vegan food, near to the Central Park - Edit
We had the Bangkok Curry and the red Curry Tofu and it was amazing. The sides are really sides, so they are not as big as full meal. But also delicious!

Quick and flavorful - Edit
I had the mac n cheese with broccoli and wings. Service was quick and the portion size was more than sufficient. The taste was great and I was happy to have some veggies on my plate! Only the wings were a bit too spicy for me.

Just visiting! - Edit
This cute little walk-up quick service was exactly that 😊 I timed it just right ordering an early dinner on a Friday. My food was ready in the flashiest of flashes! Once I got back to my hotel room, I was alone with my chocolate chip cookie (last one of the day) & I'm already considering going back tomorrow for another! The noises coming from my room being alone with that cookie, yikes! 🤭

Tasty and creative bowls — must try - Edit
A welcome vegan addition to midtown lunch — I recommend the Yucatán Mayan bowl, the Sesame Tuna bowl, and the curry one. The burger and vegan chicken sandwich are good, too.

Handy vegan location in midtown - Edit
A convenient location for lunch or pre-theater, it's located in an upscale food hall with options for non-veg friends. I tried the meatball grinder made with Wicked, but it was just OK. I definitely want to go back and try more items from the menu. It was just one person taking care of customers and cooking the food. She was friendly but could have used help to speed up the line.

I'm Addicted to Plant Junkie - Edit
The Hipster Chicken Sandwich captured my heart. A fast-food culinary masterpiece artfully combining a crispy, breaded plant-based patty with a medley of fresh, crunchy vegetables, all nestled inside a fluffy, toasted bun. The sandwich is a symphony of flavors, with the patty boasting a tasty resemblance to real chicken while being completely cruelty-free. My friends really enjoyed both the Buddha Bowl and the Low Country Bowl.

Many all vegan options, a big portion and fast service. I ordered the “low country” which has comfort foods of buffalo “chicken” and mac and cheeze with broccoli, plus a cookie. It was all delicious.
