Date night and brunch favorite - Edit
My wife and I love coming to PFSC for date night. With live music, an amazing menu and relaxed atmosphere, it’s easily our favorite mountain getaway. If you’re trying to finish the night off, go with the port and cheese stuffed dates, you won’t be disappointed. The grab and go selection is also nice for those, “well maybe I want something for later or tomorrow” voices in the head...or stomach.

The delicious-iest - Edit
Vegan food so delicious we can’t even use proper grammar. Wow. The lentil soup is the best lentil soup in the hemisphere. The tofu scramble tacos are as tasty as they are beautiful to behold. The Mediterranean salad is at the same time filling yet deliciously light. The ginger molasses cookie takes me back to the delicious windmill cookies I’d have to grab with a tong at the market when I was a child. But these taste gourmet, of course. We can’t wait to do it all over again.

A little taste of heaven. - Edit
WOW! WOW! & WOW!
Read morePlenty of seating both inside and out.
First thing that stuck us was the aroma as we walked it. The ambiance was inviting. Nice music, but not too loud. Friendly and welcoming staff.
The featured items posted at the door caught our attention as we walked in. We shared the Gingerbread Date shake. WOW! It did not disappoint.
We had the Tempeh Probiotic Sandwich and the Beet Falafel burger. For the options side we both opted for the soup de Jour, a Lebanese Red Lentil Soup. WOW! Flavor was amazing. Just a bit of spice on the back of the tongue a perfect spice blend. Soup was just 1 of 6 possible choices.
Both sandwiches were plentiful and tasty. Burger came with a Tzatziki cashew and hummus, fresh avocado. I opted to leave of the red onion.
Tempeh sandwich had lots of veges. Majestic Garlic sauce was wonderful. Just a nice flavor combination.
Nice decor. Had to check out both restroom's tile work and design.
Loved it so much, we went back for dinner.
Friendly servers. Arly was in training, but did a great job.
This evening we had the Shepherd's Pie and Sweet Potato Enchiladas.
Of the 4 dishes we have had today, Shepherd's Pie was the least interesting spice combo. Still tasty and perfect for the less daring. As I was enjoying it, was thinking how some roasted garlic in the mash potatoes would be. Or how a little more spice in the lentils could add more depth. The sauteed garlic, lemon kale that came on the side was perfect.
The Enchiladas on the other hand, have been our favorite. Great flavor! Didn't need the added salsa that come with it.
We finished with a slice of GF chocolate cake that came with a scoop of ice cream. Appreciate their flexibility to swap out the vanilla ice cream with cherry chip. As we were wrapping up and chatting with other dinners, we were planning our strategy for tomorrow's meals. Free dessert with 2 entrees at dinner...Mmmmm looking forward to the possibilities.
Back again the next day!
Lunch: we shared (need to save room for dinner) the Tofu Scramble Tacos and bowl of Lentil soup.
Final evening in town & celebrating an early anniversary.
Started with the Potato & Artichoke Croquettes as suggest by our server. They did not disappoint.
Dinner was the Roasted Veggie Tower and Roasted Veggie Flatbread.
We finished with Raspberry Cheese cake top with fresh blueberries.
So amazing to find such wonderful food in this small town.
Looking forward to next visit!

The best grilled cheese ever - Edit
This restaurant is so cute! It has a great vibe with lots of natural light. We went during lunch, but the dinner menu looks way better, so we might try to come back. The grilled cheese was seriously the best we’ve ever had, with balsamic and different cheeses- definitely order that! We also tried the super protein salad which was good and very filling. The Far East bowl was like a deconstructed sushi roll, very creative. It was a bit spicy, but had great flavor with the raw ginger.

Phenomenal food! - Edit
We spent a weekend hiking in Idyllwild in November, 2018. We had breakfast here when we arrived and enjoyed it so much that we came back for all our meals in the two days. The staff was very friendly and were like old friends by our last meal Everything we had was fantastic enhanced by the great music at Saturday night dinner. Even our non-vegan son loved his meals.

Love this place - Edit
We eat here every time we are in the area! Literally this is the third time in three days I’ve been here. It’s soooo good and they use the good vegan cheese(follow your heart)! The tempeh sandwich is definitely my favorite. Along with their breakfast tacos, artichoke croquettes it’s all yummy. Their chocolate cake is amazing! Food here is on point . It’s the only vegan spot in town and it’s awesome.

Vegan Food - Edit
Ordered 3 entrees for 2 of us, plus an appetizer and dessert. Wasn't disappointed with any of it. Everything was outstanding, so worth the extended wait for Supper menu. We had eaten breakfast and lunch here about a month or so ago. Haven't had anything that wasn't delicious.

Gourmet Vegan - Edit
Chef Kelly has out done herself! The new location - just as you enter town off highway 243 - is as beautiful as her delicious gourmet vegan cuisine! The outdoor deck is delightful too. Make sure on your next visit to Idyllwild you check out the Plant Food Supper Club. Idyllwild locals and visitors now the best of the best!

Loved the Tamale - Edit
This is a great little place in Idyllwild. Our first time in Idyllwild & was shocked there was a vegan cafe. We were very pleased with our lunch. Sweet potato and black bean tamale. Very friendly staff too! Nourished before our walk around town. They also have a great smoothie menu.

A must try!! - Edit
Hubby and I were thrilled to find an all Vegan Place here in Idyllwild during a little get away. We fell immediately in love with this place and ate here all 3 days of our trip! Grilled “cheese”, probiotic tempeh, butternut soup, quinoa soup, tamales were AMAZING! I thoroughly enjoyed the golden milk they have here but it is very Gingery and turmeric-y so make sure you really like those before you try! It’s also a plus that the dishes seem to be very clean, definitely not a “junk food vegan” place haha

The food is amazing, however I don’t know if the employees were having a bad day but they weren’t very welcoming , my partner and I said thank you and please numerous times and the employees just sat down our food with no response, when asked to order a to go order I was given the most disrespectful look . I won’t be returning but the food was great ! Smoothies aren’t so great

Gem in the Mountains - Worth the drive - Edit
Have been a vegan for over 26 years and so happy that Kelly opened her vegan restaurant in Idyllwild. Hasn't been a dish we haven't liked. Biased? You bet I am and you will too after eating there! Worth the drive and you can't beat the charm of the mountain community. Everything Kelly creates is full of love, which is experienced through flavor. Enjoy!
