A safe haven in Korean meat mania - Edit
Tons of good food and cakes. All vegan! I recommend the breakfast burrito and the TLT (tempeh BLT). This place used to have the most reviews in all of Seoul but they all seem to have disappeared?

What happened to the reviews? - Edit
Plant used to be the most reviewed and most popular vegan restaurant in Seoul. It still is the most popular, but lots of reviews seem to be gone. In any case, you should definitely visit for a fully western vegan restaurant experience. Delicious food at decent prices, although the desserts are quite pricy. Always fun decorations inside too!

Great Western-style Vegan Food - Edit
I couldn't wait to visit Plant since becoming a vegan, and it exceeded my expectations! I went with my vegetarian boyfriend and omnivore Korean friend and we all loved it!
Read moreThe menu is all in English! Perhaps they have a Korean menu, but even my Korean friend was given the English menu. She was so surprised, "Is this Korea!?" We ordered the new fall menu stew, the rainbow wrap, and the lentil bowl. The stew was tomatoy and smokey, totally yummy and served with rice. My rainbow wrap was fantastic though the tortilla could've been better. The lentil bowl was also very tasty, but, to be honest, reminded me of stuff I made back in the USA so it wasn't totally mind-blowing for me. We also ordered the chili cheese fries. I loved the cheese and the fries but wasn't a huge fan of the chili/salsa.
We also ordered the PSL (pumpkin spice latte). It was HEAVEN and served with a giant cinnamon stick, a strawberry milkshake (very sweet!) and a raspberry smoothie. Keep in mind these flavors are VERY western, so they may not appeal to people with a more Korean style of taste (my friend didn't enjoy the overly sweet milkshake and felt the food was a little too salty for her liking).
Overall, I couldn't believe how full I was. Usually when I eat at Western places, the portions are a bit smaller, so I ordered accordingly (3 main dishes for 3 people plus an app to split). I was SO full after and we could hardly finish it all! What a great problem to have! I would encourage you to learn from our mistake and maybe start with only 1 dish per person haha.
I was also impressed that even though I had to write my name on a waiting list, I was given a table very quickly and the food came out quickly as well (after ordering at the counter). I highly recommend Plant!
Pros: Delicious, All vegan, Large portion
Cons: Expensive

Tasty food, but wish I ordered something other than a burger - Edit
The burgers here are very much suited to people who prefer healthy foods, as it was a VERY healthy burger. The regular Plant burger I got was full of alfalfa sprouts and salad, and the pattie itself was made from lentils and beans. I found the pattie to be a bit dry for my taste, and overall needed a bit more flavour to it.
Read moreI was disappointed I didn't get to go back because I was very curious about their pastas and other options. The food was still very high quality, its just that I prefer my burgers to be less on the healthy clean-food side.
The staff were SUPER lovely and welcoming though, and it was a really nice space to sit in. I'd definitely recommend trying it out!
Pros: High quality food, Very healthy flavours, Super nice staff
Cons: Burger wasn't exactly to my taste

A classic - Edit
Western vegan restaurant - great choice of cakes, food : salad, pasta, sandwiches. I have been a follower since the beginning when it was at the other small location.
Read moreThe new location is more lively, easier to find from subway.
This review is from my last visits and will update.
Pumpkin spice latte: one of the best I have tried. Spicy, not overly sweet and you can taste the pumpkin.
Raw pumpkin cake: had a weird taste. Not sure what it was but it didn t taste any pumpkin, more a spice I ignore the name (maybe muscade? Too much of it).
Suggestion: how about making house made nut milk instead of the store bought one packed with gums and additives? The almond meal left could be used in pastries.
Pros: Location, Great choice, Best pumpkin spice latte
Cons: Pricey

The hipster palace - Edit
This all vegan diner serves very tasty and nicely prepared food. It's not the cheapest place, compared to other Korean restaurants but definitely worth the price, and a "must visit" for all hips Instagramers out there, as both food and interior is very modern and good looking.

The Classic - Edit
To me, Plant is one of the first vegan restaurants I have known in Seoul. They have expanded a lot and have become so popular, it's sometimes quite noisy in here,
Read moreThey offer classic (Western) foods, e.g. burgers, pasta and stews, that have been veganized. I love the creative way, they interpret e.g. Mac&Cheese into a vegan version with pumpkin sauce and fermented beans!
Their bakery products are awesome - frosted cakes, that are so fluffy and rich, its hard to tell that they are vegan! Vegan comfort food and junk food all at once, YAY! :)
Staff is always friendly and cheery, a fun atmosphere overall.
Prices are a bit higher than local Korean foods, however.
Pros: excellent food, large menu
Cons: pricey, noisy at times

Expectations exceeded!! Great feed. - Edit
Went because so many people had recommended it - thought it was going to be an overrated touristy cafe that served western-vegan food While it definitely caters to foreigners (the menus are in English), the food is truly amazing and it seems to be a hub for local Uni students.
Read moreFood was fresh and tasty. Lots of cakes to choose from too although we didn't get any. Staff were so nice and it felt like all of them, from front of house to kitchen staff, were having a great time working there - I think this really adds to it's positive atmosphere.
Price is higher than other eateries but worth it for sure. No complaints!
RECOMENNDATIONS: Plant Cheeseburger (not a fake-meat patty, with great fries), Veggie Lentil Bowl (waaaaay better than I thought it was going to be - super delicious and nourishing) and Pumpkin Spice Latte (Iced).
Pros: Wonderful Staff , Great Vibes, plants everywhere!, Big Portions

Nice atmosphere and tasty food - Edit
We had a chili burger with fries, which was quite tasty, although the patty was a bit too soft. The meatballs with spaghetti have been great and the oreo-choclate cake was just amazing! The staff is friendly and the places nicely decorated. All in all a great experience if you are looking for non-Korean food.

Awesome! - Edit
The first time I ate at Plant was 2014, back at the old, small location. Back then the food was nothing special and the portions on the small side, in my opinion.
Read moreThe restaurant has gained popularity and has moved to a bigger place with a lot of plants and about a dozen tables and quite a few staff. Staff is mostly non-Korean and the menu is in English. They have a special of the day. I got the Avocado burger with fries and it was just really delicious and it was a big portion! For dessert i got the Kale Colada smoothie and the Earl Grey cake. The cake was not too sweet which i liked and the smoothie reall, flavourful and refreshing.
They use metal straws!
Go there!!!!
Pros: All vegan, Really delicious, Nicely decorated restaurant

Cosy place - look at the website location as the Happy Cow pinpoint isn't accurate. It is on the same side as exit 4 of Itaewon station. The tofu caesar wrap was just amazing. Great value for the quality and quantity of food served.

Amazing place, good value in my opinion as quality is really good. Ate here twice for lunch and dinner and both times were incredible. 100% vegan menu, gluten free dishes and cakes clearly labelled.
