Yum for the tum

Had the Buddha bowl, loved all the veggies and mushrooms. Good sized portion with tofu done just right. Good atmosphere/ambiance.

Vegan Goodness

I'm a little biased but the new Spicy Tofu Poke is amazing.

Plant Based Paradise @Kaka’ako

Very secluded place with limited parking.
I’ve been to one of the other restaurants in this chain and just want to rate the food, place, experience this time around.
The atmosphere is interesting since it doesn’t get much natural sunlight, but it has plenty of seating. Good service!

This time I got the green vitality and the BLT

The green vitality was unique, not something that I would get again personally, but it’s definitely a quality product with an interesting inclusion of greens and ginger. I could see

The BLT was recommended for the taste of the “bacon”, and although it’s not profound- I can see where they were coming from. I do think that they could take some notes from the sunrise shake and/or make it into more of a panini (unless I didn’t notice it on the menu)

I would say the food and overall experience was pretty fair. I can’t complain- but I’m not boasting about it to people or bringing people here myself unless they wanted to and it’s to give another menu item a try.

If you are into very earthy foods like the peace cafe- this may just be your style (and I’m not knocking it)

Nonetheless, 3/5. Hope to see some evolution or maybe give it another try and find something that hits

Pros: Plenty of seating, Good/quick service

Cons: Secluded/navigation + parking
